I’ve been constantly buying cords because they would suddenly stop working with Android Auto in my car. The connection couldn’t be found.After some research the easiest remedy to try was to buy better cable. I’ve been using the same one for about 3 months now and it still connects.

I use Android Auto in my car. If I use another brand my car with throw a tantrum and my phone will buffer and not work as well. The Honda dealership said to use the same brand of cord my phone is and ever since then my car is happy and my phone doesn’t buffer.I buy these about twice a year since I don’t pay attention to where the cord is and it gets yanked or something sits on it so they wear a little more quicker.
