I have a Bose stereo radio with CD player. CD’s had been skipping, causine error messages, just not working. I thought it was the rather old stereo itself, and has been looking for a replacement, when I came across the Maxwell Pro Laser lens cleaner, and decided for a few dollars it was worth a try…could always use it in my car. I was thrilled when it worked to refresh the CD player! Worth 10X the cost!

I had a disc that wouldn’t play in certain areas because of smudge marks. This product solved that problem. After cleaning, it works nice like before. Highly recommended. 👍

My old TASCAM Commercial CD player has worked well over the years. Recently it has stopped at different points during play. I was about to tear into it and then thought maybe the lens is dirty so ordered this disc cleaner. I ran it through 2 cycles once the disc error was finally resolved and no more problems. I encountered a problem that I can’t explain. When I first tried it on the player it would not work and gave me a “Disc Error”. I tried it on another disc player and it worked fine then tried it again on the TASCAM and it worked great and no more stopping during play. The instruction with the disc is not correct as it goes immediately to track 1 in English then when instructed to go to track 3, the process is finished. An additional unexpected benefit is the audio output is several dB higher to my amp so I had to turn the volume down on the amp. Well worth the price to correct a problem.

Worked well to clean the interior of my unit. Hadn’t used it for a time, so needed to take care of that interior. Sound much better after using it. Also, no repeats as before.

I thought I had a problem with my DVD player, this was all it needed to fix the problem. Packaging is a problem, not to bent the brushes, but if careful the disk will stay in place. Could be a lot better, but still a good deal.

Once I used this DVD, my DVD’s had no more issues. I used to own a VHS cleaner from Maxell and that was also excellent. Highly recommend Maxell DVD cleaner.

Bought a used 1980s carrousel cd player that would not play. This fixed it but I had to also use a tiny bit of liquid vinyl cleaner to the brush to get it completely fixed.

I have seen mixed reviews and it seems that it works if the problem is dirt in the read system. If other partds have failed or it has lost alignment this will nto fix it.My DVD recorder had stopped working. I determined that it was because it could no longer read what it wrote. This product fixed it.If your CD or DVD player is worth more than about $20 and had stopped working; this product is worth a try. It worked for me and restored by JVC VDV recorder to working order.
