I purchased this item to connect the USB-C charging cord of my Apple Watch to a USB-A charging port. It works quite well. There are, however, two important things to be aware of. One is that the adapter comes with a tiny tab on one side of the USB-C insertion point. While I was easily able to connect my cord with this tab still in place, it does slightly limit the insertion. The tab is very easily removed with a sharp blade. The second thing to know is that this adapter is directional in its wiring. If no charge is detected on connection, simply disconnect the USB-C cord, flip it over, and reconnect.

My original adapter broke off and I searched locally for the piece. Bought 2 both were flimsy or weren’t fit snug but In compatible. This one came the same day I ordered it and was PERFECT !!!! Allahu Akbar

It is an adapter for Type-C to Type-A, it dropped the speed when I used it from 700MB/s to 300MB/s so it may be due to my Type-A USB port so results may vary. This goes well with my Crucial X9 external SSD because of the notch and key feature and the design as well.

The media could not be loaded. I haven’t tested the difference but so far this has worked great. Intuitive setup instructions, very easy and compact
