After weeks of looking for a longer USB-C to USB-C cable for my Samsung T7 SHEILD SSD, I am glad I came across this Belkin Thunderbolt 3 cable. Not only is this cable durable with great material it is super fast and reliable. The previous cables I bought would not transfer data, disconnect from my SSD, and give me slow speeds. That’s not the case with this cable. In fact, I have ZERO issues with it. Apple Charges a lot of money for their Thunderbolt cables. This is the cheapest high quality cable you can buy. I highly recommend it!

This is a quality cable that feels sturdy, but flexible. It’s a nice length for powering a 4K portable monitor that I use alongside my laptop when traveling.

Wouldn’t work in my Tacoma

Excellent cable, more flexible than some others that tend to be stiff. I use it for both data transfer and charging simultaneously by using it to connect a USB-C hub to my device – it works well for that application which requires a high quality cable. The price us reasonable do it is a good value for the money.

Purchased anticipating need when hooking up a newly purchased computer. Discovered during set up I didn’t need it after all so I returned it. As always, a return with Amazon is so easy. Product is what it should be, just didn’t need it.

I used this to connect a SanDisk extreme portable SSD and it works perfectly unlike a different cable that claimed it would work and did not.

Thunderbolt 3 (TB3) is still finding its place in consumer life and in the technology industry. Its use cases are few but really powerful. TB3 cables are notoriously expensive but this one isn’t. It’s from a reputable brand that should gives you more assurance of quality and shouldn’t burn out your devices or, in the worst case, set them on fire. It’s really stiff though which probably helps in durability but takes away from easy of use. They’re also, by specification, short. This is half speed (20GB) but long enough to be useful. I mainly use it to charge my phone while I’m on my laptop. My phone will sit on a table charging but the cable is still long enough that I can pick up my phone and look at it without any issue. It rolls up nice enough and fits in my laptop bag. If you actually need full speed TB3 (40gbps) then you’ll need another cable, it will also be about a foot long and minimally usable.

Dog broke my USB-C cable between my Lenovo laptop and Lenovo ThinkPad docking station. I was trying to find a replacement but had a hard time trying to figure out which one would work so I ordered a couple different ones. The Lenovo PN of the USB Cable that I replaced is SC10Q89610.

Belkin generally makes very reliable products and this is no exception. The cable has a more rubbery than plastic texture and flexibility, and the connectors fit securely to any USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port. It has a good quality build and feel that I expect from these guys. And most importantly, it works. Very well.I say this only as an FYI to anyone using the combination of a MacBook or MacBook Pro, a USB-C docking station, and a 4K display–if you have any issues getting video to display on your 4K display, try swapping the USB-C cable between your MacBook and the dock with a Lightning 3 cable like this one. Based on my experience, 4K video will not stream reliably over a USB-C cable to the dock and on to your monitor; you have to use a Lightning 3 cable to ensure sufficient bandwidth.
