Have been using it over 2 years and it’s a great cable. Good quality, no issues. I occasionally disconnect it and reconnect it between different computers. I would buy it again.

I needed a cable that would connect to an SSD enclosure I already had. The enclosure had a miniUSB port. I wanted to connect it to a USB-C port on my computer. I had a miniUSB to standard USB cable, but not one with USB-C. I didn’t have a converter plug and wanted to get the max speed I could. I ordered Amazon’s basic cable and it worked flawlessly. The SSD is up and running at 10 Gpbs.

I just bought a number of these to replace the existing USB cables that come with Seagate external drives. Was tired of using a USB C adapter for my Mac Studio. In short, these are perfect. I’ve had zero disconnects, they feel very rugged (thick cable casing) and they actually feel faster than the included Seagate cables.I would definitely buy again.

I needed a longer USB-C to USB SuperSpeed 5 Gbps cable for my external USB hard drive. This Amazon Basics cable has been working perfectly so far.

Don’t know why products still use this type of connector but the multi connector ends fail too often. This one is much stronger.
