ordered 4 of them for a Money wiring check cashing store, 3/4 work perfect and have been working perfect since day one. the few problems i have experienced just like anyone else is because they are not plugged in Fully/correctly.. off replug, on again and bam perfect.one of the four was defective the power adapter buzzes loudly when plugged in to ANY outlet and its microphone/speaker (circular one) hisses when plugged into any of the four i bought . thanks to amazons great return policy for defective items exchanging for a new one wont be a problem. there is no risk if you get a bad one like with anything on amazon.don’t be discouraged by anyone else comments i have had loud power drills and other construction going on and these intercoms are loud enough.

Update: The company was great and sent me another unit in no time. It works great again. Thank you.This is a great product in theory. After a couple of months, though, the connection between the cord and main unit only works sporadically. We can jiggle the cord to get it to work some, but it’s not consistent and we shouldn’t have to jiggle a cord to make it work.

After reading reviews I was a little worried to purchase this unit. But to my surprise it works and sounds great!The set up is easy and the operation of the actual intercom is just as easy. We are using this at a haunted attraction where the background is extremely loud so typically hearing the customers or the customers hearing the ticket sellers can be difficult through the window on the windows.We self installed this system and have no complaints.

I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT FOR THE PROTECTION OF MY EMPLOYEES AT THE HOTEL I MANAGE. WE HAVE A NIGHT WINDOW BUT WE ARE UNABLE TO COMMUNICATE WITH OUR GUESTS SINCE NEITHER CAN HEAR EACH OTHER SO THE GUESTS HAVE TO COME INSIDE TO REGISTER. THIS WAS UNSAFE FOR MY WORKERS SINCE THEY WOULD HAVE TO OPEN THE DOORS TO ASSIST THE GUEST . NO ONE EVER THOUGHT ABOUT THAT WHEN THEY PUT THE WINDOW IN IN THE FIRST PLACE. HOWEVER, THIS LITTLE SPEAKER/MIC ALLOWS MY STAFF TO BE ABLE TO KEEP DOORS LOCKED AT NIGHT AND EFFECTIVELY USE THE NIGHT WINDOW AND HEAR OUR GUESTS AS WELL AS THE GUESTS SPEAK AND LISTEN TO US.
