I switched my home alarm system over to Home assistant and needed an alarm that would worked with the Konnected board. This integrated perfectly, I just had to switch out the old alarm with this one, it used the same wires and had a similar footprint on the wall. It is very loud, I can hear it clearly anywhere in my 2 story house.

I wanted to add a siren to our home security system…whose vendor does not offer a siren. I used this siren, pulled a 12V, 500mA power supply from my box of remnants from old accessories, wired it up, and plugged into a smart plug. When I want the siren to go off, I just switch on the smart plug. The siren could be louder, but it does what I need it to do.

Got the Honeywell WAVE-2 Siren and it’s honestly a game-changer for my home security. This thing is super loud, which is exactly what you need to scare off any unwelcome visitors. The best part? You can switch up the siren types easily, so it never gets too predictable. Plus, hooking it up with a smart plug was a breeze – it fits right into my home automation setup. I’m really happy with this buy. It’s given me an extra layer of peace of mind.

This is a very loud siren 12 volt DC to be used for smoke or intrusion alarms. I used this with a Konnected hard wire alarm system upgrade for an old 35 year old alarm system. I ended up installing one in client’s basement and one on main floor. THEY ARE VERY LOUD. Each uses less than 0.5 amps (500mA)

I bought this Siren in addition to a Konnected Alarm panel Pro upgrade. It is very Load at 106db. I used the second sound mode (warble) and it is louder than my original Brinks Siren it replaced. It is a very easy 2 wire installation.

So i have Samsung Smartthings which does not have a siren or alarm system, after reading some of the comments here i decided to give it a try as i needed something to sound when there is motion or door contact is open. I also bought a compatible smart switch to plug the siren in. Many people suggested changing the siren configuration to utilize other sounds available but i did not bother. You will have to create new automation in your smartthings app to make this work, i created two scene, one to sound when motion is detected and another to switch off the siren from app, that’s all you need. Sound is loud enough for my 4000 sq/ft home and you can hear it from every corner. However, comparing with your standard alarm company sirens this one is not loud enough, but it does the job and i am happy with it.

Works as original and looks better than 20 year old unit that was brittle due to sunlight.

Sound is loud, has two different settings. I wired up to be able to plug it in. I plug it into a controllable Wi-Fi plug and use an app to turn it on and off. If you have someone around your property and your not home you can turn it on and then when they are gone.I recommend, I have 2 of them.

New Vista-20P panel did not play nice with the 1998 sirens from the old Brinks system. This fixed that immediately. Added two. Can’t stop somone from breaking into my house but I can make them and the neighbors uncomfortable.
