Since my first review, I have learned that Resideo is a rebranding of “Honeywell Home” for commercial use. They felt that “Home” was misleading commercial buyers away from their products.This motion sensor works well, and I am glad that I could still find a solid wired sensor.

After migrating to a Konnected alarm panel, got comfortable with wiring these things so decided to add pir to rooms myself. These are relatively small and innocuous, blending into the room. Sensitivity is quite good and easy to change if too sensitive. Even in an age of wireless, wired is still the best if you need it to be as relatable as possible. Bonus that there are no batteries to keep up with now

I like how they still make wired motion sensors. I feel like they are more secure than wireless and also they have a very cool light that flashes on it every time it senses motion.

I just installed 3 of these PIR’s to replace existing ones. They were very easy to install and work perfectly. Just make sure you turn the power off and disconnect the backup battery, then put the correct color wires in each opening and tighten the screws. My colors from left to right were white, green, blue, and red. Be sure to note the color of the wires when you remove them from the old device so you can put them in the correct slot on the new device. Once installed just turn the power back on and connect the backup battery. They are so lightweight I used double sided tape to stick them to the wall. They have flat edges that fit perfectly into a corner for a corner mount, or stick the tape to the back of the unit for a non-corner mount. They are really easy to install, light weight, and work unbelieveably well. I highly recommend these PIR’s.

Had a failing hardwired motion sensor on my alarm. This was a perfect replacement.There are four wires to connect. The positive and negative voltage wires are labeled. Another two wires, C and NC are basically the circuit which is either open or closed depending on if the sensor is triggering or not. It does not matter which wire is in which slot for the C and NC circuit wires.

Bought this unit and a problem would not work. Called Fire and Safteyt person on the phone was great to work with. You could not ask for more.
