We used these radios for a van ride to be able to communicate with other vans from AZ to CA. They worked great and synced up easily. They also worked well in heavy CA traffic. The volume is nice and loud and the controls are simple, with minimal to no interference or static. The one concern i have is that the chargers these come with are a little finicky when it comes to the charging indicator. I initially plugged them in to charge but it showed them as charged, although the instructions said to charge it for several hours. This led me to believe that maybe the radios were already charged, or maybe the indicator was bad on the chargers themselves as the issue was intermittent.I left the little flashlights on over night to see if it would drain the battery and they were still on when i got up!

The media could not be loaded. Good range, good clarity. Mimic the button placement and look of the heavy duty Kenwood’s used on farms around here. The kids love feeling like they have real walkie-talkies. They work great around our small acreage

I got these to replace the Radio Shack intercoms we had. (They break on a bet!)I was skeptical at first, as I wasn’t sure if the walkie-talkies would work for the house. (I wondered if there would be interference or the batteries would last about 10 minutes, those sorts of things.)These things are terrific! The batteries last several days on one charge, the sound is clear and crisp, and we have had a blast using them around the house. (My oldest son would beg to differ, as we play with them to his dismay.) They are particularly great in that I can keep one close to me when I am working in a specific room, and not have to leave to answer a call as I had to when we had the intercom system. They can also be used when out in the yard to contact someone in the house. My boys love pretending to be in the military, even though they are over the tween age. I find them to be much easier to use than the intercom we had previously, and at a lower cost. (Three walkie-talkies for the same price as two intercoms.) Set up is rather easy, unless you want to add the belt clip- that takes a bit of work. (The clips aren’t cheaply made though- they look as if they can handle a good bit of trauma.) The instructions aren’t bad; they could be a wee bit clearer. My only complaint is the rather obnoxious voice that announces that the power is on and what channel the walkie is tuned to. I turn it on, but keep the volume down.Time will tell if these will hold up to daily use. If they don’t, I’ll be back to add an addendum to this review saying so.

The radios work well, I have only used them on about two acres so the max limits have not been tested but for what my intended use is they work great thus far and the battery life is exceptional. The real reason for this review is to speak to the exceptional customer service by this company. When looking thru reviews of these type of walkie talkies, the one thing that stood out in the reviews was this company’s customer service and I can attest to that first hand. When I received the radio’s I followed the instructions and placed the batteries into the radios and charged the batteries. When I tested the radios after charging them, one of the three was working intermittently. After doing a troubleshooting, it was clear that one of the batteries had a problem. There are two metal pins at the top of the battery that make contact with the metal contacts on the radio once the battery is snapped into place. One of the pins did not have enough resistance when compressed to make continuous contact with the radio (think of it like a spring pushing up on the bottom of the pin allowing it to compress only so far before stopping it). Once I figured out the problem I sent an email to the company. I sent the email Saturday afternoon thinking I would hear back towards the beginning of the week, surprisingly I received and email the next day, asking me a few questions and assuring me that they would take care of the problem. After a couple of emails back and forth they sent me a new battery by mail. Within a week of my first contact I had my new battery and it works fine. The company apologized for the problem, sent me an email and tracking number the day it shipped. Excellent customer service. They genuinely seem to care about their customers, refreshing. I would not hesitate to buy from them again.

They work great when we’re in the woods to keep contact.

Great Two-Way Radios! Purchased these for a road trip with a bunch of friends up to Lake George,NY. They worked very well on the road with extremely clear transmission between cars with as much distance as a mile+. 18 channels to choose from when you run into other people on the same frequency. We were also able to use them between the house and boat with no issues with sound clarity. I don’t have too much experience with two way radios, but as far as I can tell these are great, and appear to be pretty durable. I didn’t get a chance to use any of the accessories, as we used them as traditional two-way radios. If you’re looking for an affordable two-way radio then look no further.

We’re elderly. Use around the house, yard , shopping for commuting to each other for help and location.

The distance that these radios go is amazing

Fuera de la ciudad la distancia es muy buena y se puede utilizar a larga distancia pero dentro de la cuidad el entorno hace mucha interferencia

I give my kids one while I keep the other and let them go run with their friends in the community. Works perfectly, have constant communication and clear conversations (as clear as the kids can speak). It’s easy enough for a 7 year old to understand and use.
