The media could not be loaded. The looks of this speaker alone is worth the money. It’s beautiful. It’s made so well. The black leather and gold detail is stunning. It was extremely easy to connect to my phone and I’m not very tech savvy. The sound is also wonderful quality. We play all kinds of music on it and have never been disappointed. It takes only a few minutes to figure out how to connect the Bluetooth. I also like that if you go a long time with out playing anything it won’t automatically connect your phone again so that it blares whatever noise comes from your phone unexpectedly and embarrassingly. You just reconfigure it when you want to.

This speaker brings me back to the day when we had stereo systems with huge speakers! I am used to having the little bluetooth pills or smaller speakers. I got a new vintage looking record player and wanted a vintage looking speaker to go with it. This speaker was a little larger than I thought it was when I ordered it, but it looks super cool. The bluetooth connected seamlessly. And the sound!!!!!!!!! Whoa. I could host a block party with this thing. Outstanding!!!!!!The reason I gave 4 stars for portability is that The Marshall Stanmore speaker needs to be plugged in, and doesn’t use batteries.

I’ve gotten comments about how beautiful the speaker looks in the room and about how positive the sound is. Superb sound quality at a decent price for what you get. Love that it’s bluetooth compatible and multiple people can actually sync to it at once.

This is the third marshall in my home.Acton 1Woburn 3Stanmore 2The sound quality is expected from marshall speakers, sounds chambered (love it), not so clear in medium-high frequency as the top notch woburn3 as it does not have dedicated speakers for this. (Need to tune bass and treble to sound like woburn3).It sounds really close to my marshall acton (first version) (very pleasant sound) but with more bass.I”ll recommend it if you find a discount like black friday.The build quality is excelent.I’m playing it from radio reciever to rca as i build a sound system of marshalls and subwoofer (all wirelessly).The main speaker is the woburn 3 (front)The stanmore 2 is playing at the rear with the subwoofer, it does a very nice job complementing the main speaker and sub.The auto on/off works but only turning it off, i have to wake up with a button.If i need another speaker i would buy marshall again, never disappointed me.

Sounded great and love the look, this is larger than expected but still great. Sadly this unit stopped working about a month after we got it so had to return but will buy a replacement.

This is literally the best thing I’ve ever purchased. Bluetooth works flawlessly. Has immense bass and convenient control knobs on top for treble and bass. I’m literally in love with it.

I was on the hunt for a quality speaker that offered multiple outputs for audio as I’m a wannabe audiophile hipster in training…lame jokes aside, I often shift between bluetooth, vinyl, and recently restored my ipod 4th gen(!) and wanted something that would sound great across media devices. When I say how much I was impressed at first listen, I don’t think you’d believe me. This think looks the part, gives the vibes, and you hear all the feels. The ability to adjust individual bass/treble by device is also a subtle but powerful win…I mean, when you turn it on and off, there are guitar rifts. It’s just…it’s just great.Will definitely consider another Marshall product in the future for proper portability because this chonky box is very much setup to be plugged in.
