I was looking for a speaker that was semi-portable and usable for the occasional outdoor gathering or small party. This thing BLEW me and the family away!!!Let’s start off with all the pros: this thing is LOUD!!! Bass is EXCELLENT and adjustable for “deep” or “punchy” and you can increase the bass by two levels. The sound quality is EXCELLENT and does not distort like cheaper speakers in this range. My wife and kids loved the Lights and strobe features, which was a great selling point for them. The lights and strobe are adjustable with various colors and schemes and don’t look cheap: they are adjustable and can be turned off or on, which is great if you want to use this inside the house. The app for the PartyBox is easy to use and customizes the speaker as you see fit: this was a great selling point compared to other speakers. The cord to charge the speaker is simple and not bulky, which is great for travel and not having to carry a “brick” type of charging cord. The other great point is that the build quality is robust and looks like it can take some serious damage outdoors. You can stand it up or lie it on its side, with nice rubber feet to keep it from moving or slipping.Out of 3 speakers I bought and tested side by side including Monster Blast 3.0 and the UE Hyperboom, this was the best out of all 3 as far as sound quality and loudness. Here are a few cons I can think of: it is kind of bulky and heavy, but not so heavy that you need some sort of cart or bag to carry it in. The speaker is larger than what I expected, but has a comfortable carrying handle. This is exactly what I was looking for to take outdoors and for small parties and exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this speaker if this is what you want it for. I would like to possibly buy a second speaker like this because you can pair with another JBL PartyBox. Highly recommended.

The media could not be loaded. This speaker was a lot bigger than I expected – size wise and sound wise. Amazing compliments from friends and family members so far!I am usually the designated “dj” at parties and also am a choreographer that occasionally needs a speaker to use at rehearsals. I also enjoy listening to music like I’m at an event with the bass shaking the floors without having to actually get commercial grade speakers (that’s overkill and probably very close to the bigger siblings of this 110). I also wanted a portable option rather than a plug in speaker in the case I do the things above or want to move it around.Design: Great design, easy button usage, durable – except when lowering it from one hand as it doesn’t have a protective pad where it hits the floor, only when it’s standing – easily solved by placing a small rubber sticker where it doesGreat color can’t go wrong with blackIt is still on the heavy side of a portable speaker regardless of it being one of the smaller partybox siblings. But big sound generally doesn’t come lightweight.Sound: First of all, videos don’t give this speaker justice. You have to have a very specific microphone and true neutral sounding speakers to here what this actually sounds like. I personally love the tuning of this being a big hip hop/pop/soul house fan. I do have varying ranges of music taste and luckily the equalizer can be tweaked if needed; however, haven’t felt like changing the equalizer for those genres either. The bass is perfect for my taste. I don’t need the boost button. Remember, placing this in front of a wall can help that bass increase if you want a ridiculous amount of bass on top of the boost button, but that’s probably for a small percentage of people.-Volume: Okay. This is a tricky one as I’ve read. For smaller settings as what I use it for – house parties, dance studio, and even outdoor picnic settings within a 100 ft, this was LOUD for me. Unnecessarily loud and overkill for my room, but I’m all for it lol. I have no reason to hit 100% without blowing peoples eardrums out. I can hear the sound bouncing off houses when I am doing garage work even when it’s at 40%.Note: plugging in this speaker does provide a small increase in volume.Battery: It’s not as long lasting as I would like. I wouldn’t mind a longer battery life for a slightly heavier speaker. For my uses, this will do just fine. Don’t need it to play all day anyway.Overall 9/10From $250 during the black friday/cyber monday deal. SO WORTH IT

The bass is strong. The sound is clear. The battery last long on two jbl patrybox 110s being played at 20 percent with lights off. It is loud enough in my bedroom as not to disturb other household members. It connects fast by Bluetooth. I do recommend not using the partybox 110s without fully charging the battery the first time. I also recommend plugging in the devices for louder sound and bass, but if you have two connected by TWS, then the sound is still pretty good without being plugged in.In the dark, the bass lights can flicker and cause someone to have a seizure, if you are prone to having them. I turn off the bass lights in the dark anyway through the partybox app. The light show is amazing and enhances the listening/viewing experience.I thought about buying larger partyboxes, but this is easy to carry, sturdy and has around the same light show effects.I do not need to have the sound in my room, or outside, to be over-powering and disturbing the neighbors or housemates. The 320 watts put out by these two boxes is plenty loud enough even on battery. The battery life, so far, while not using my partyboxes has lasted a while now inbetween play time and not being home. I would not let your battery completely drain though. Like most items, it is harder to keep a longer charge when the battery is fully drained for extended periods. The battery light does go off and bypasses electricity upon being fully charged. JBL recommends not charging the battery in direct sunlight, using the partybox 110 in extreme heat and keeping the battery at 100 percent for extended periods.

I first purchased a JBL portable speaker 8years ago. To see and hear this unit accumulates JBL’s commitment to excellence. This thing rocks! Amazing sound, deep bass even without the extra bass engaged ! Battery life just about 10hrs without lights, 7-8hrs with lights. Outdoors in a parking lot the sound is incredibly clear and loud.. well worth the money paid. Easily portable with the carry handle, the USB port, Mic inputs and ability to ‘daisy-chain’ to other speakers (my daughter’s friend has one) can create an awesome backyard light/sound experience!! Delivered on time, packaged well and secured with the ac cord readily available.

This was my husband’s gift for Christmas. It was very expensive but it worth every penny. He is so happy with it. The surround sound is amazing. Very loud and the lights are great for a house party. Per my husband this was the best Christmas gift ever. Winning 😊

The sound is great, especially compared to the small box speakers. It connected right away. App is useful and pretty straight forward. It’s a tad bigger and heavier than I anticipated (of course, all the specs are available, so that’s on me), but still portable with no problem. Plenty of volume available, especially since we have used it only inside, so far.

This is my second portable speaker and I will say briefly about it that it is wow. My first flip 6 speaker, I bought it just to listen to music with good sound, but I thought that its sound was not enough, and I thought about buying a partybox. Choosing between 310 and I thought about 110 for a long time, but I still chose 110. Its price and the ability to carry with me only in my hands won me over. Good bass, good sound, beautiful colors. It has a weaker sound than 310, this is a fact, but this sound will be enough for you of your first speaker so precisely because the sound there is really loud.

Our 17 year old uses this thing everywhere! From the rugby field to a pool party and on his boat to a field party, it’s always with him! The sound quality is fantastic and the durability is amazing.

Get the app, so you can play with the equalizer. We have this and the Encore partybox, and we sync them all the time for music and movies. Tremendous sound and great value!
