I must say, it’s been an absolute delight. This compact speaker has earned a solid 5-star rating from me, thanks to its exceptional sound quality and ease of travel.From the get-go, the JBL Clip 4 impressed me with its robust sound. I walk everywhere, don’t drive, having my music is a real motivator. I have several play list set up on my phone, I just choose one and I’m off. I’m in love with the thing, I clip it to my crossover bag, or have it in my pocket. Blocks out sound of traffic too. Can’t wait till summer to use at beach, as before my phone could not take the sun, and would over heat, and sand and water were a threat, this is water resistant! Definitely my best purchase in a few years. Power last for days, and recharges quickly. Sound is clear, exceptional. Light weight, attractive, matches my sneakers. Not a happier 70 something year old around!

Great little speaker! Got this to wear around when I am doing chores or working. Clips easily onto a belt loop, also its waterproof so you can clip it on the shower curtain hanger or something when showering. It’s not so big that you can’t clip it on your belt and go jogging. It’s about the size of a smallish single patty hamburger. Gets decently loud; will fill a normal sized room, nothing earshattering but fine. The sound is a bit weak and muddy in the bass of course, but it’s really not too bad. The spoken voice and singing range is very clear though, so although your electronic/dance/club etc music will sound washed out, pop and rock should be okay. Good for listening to audio books, podcasts, also listened to a classical piano performance and it was nice. For the money it’s awesome; I charged it when I first got it and have been playing it a few hours a day for three days now, haven’t needed to recharge it yet. Worth the money. Thumbs up.

This is the second one I have purchased as a gift. First one was for my Mom. She loves taking it all over when she is cleaning the house or outside working in her yard. Great sound quality, durability, portable, battery life is long. I can’t say enough great things about this speaker. I chose red, as it is easy to spot LOL.

My JBL Clip 1 gave out and I replaced it with this model. They’ve come a long way in terms of sound, look and battery life. I like to motorcycle camp where space is a premium. I like that I can have a personal speaker at camp that sounds nice but doesn’t disturb others. Compact, portable, clipable. I love it.

I purchased this because I travel a lot for work and always wish I had a small speaker to listen to music while in my hotel room rather than using my earbuds (I prefer to save my earbud battery life). Instead, I ended up using this thing ALL THE TIME! I use it in my hotel room, outside on the porch, in the shower (because waterproof!), outside around the firepit and I also end up taking it from room to while I clean when I don’t want to disturb the entire house with surround sound. I do NOT recommend submerging this speaker but I did accidentally drop mine in the bath and it’s been totally fine since. The sound is clear, with a surprising amount of bass, and it can be clipped onto almost anything – highly recommend purchasing a skin/case like the one I have so that it can stand on it’s own.Many of the negative reviews mentioned a mediocre sound quality or battery life but, I think to be fair, you must consider that this is a tiny handheld speaker not intended to sound like a home stereo sound system or sound bar. It’s also important to keep in mind that the battery life depends on whether you have the volume on full blast every time you use it (I normally do and I still find that about 8-10hrs of run time is pretty accurate). Also keep in mind that the speaker turns off after about 20 minutes of idle time – so if you fail to turn it off every time you use it, that time it takes to turn off takes away from your overall battery life. Even with these things, I still give this thing 5 stars overall. I even purchased one for my best friend.The ONLY cons I have found that affect my experience, but aren’t big enough of a deal to sway how much I love this product, are:1. You can double-press the play button to go to the next song, but there is no way to restart or go back to a previous song (this is annoying if you accidentally skip a song you wanted to hear)2. This model does NOT connect or sync with the JBL app (not a deal breaker but would be a nice option)

Not only is it cute, I love the color & its functionality! This will be great on bike rides, walking the dog or cleaning the house opposed to wearing earbuds. Most of all, can’t wait to take it on my next beach vacay. This has GREAT sound quality & packs a punch in volume, too! Water & “dust proof” – BIG BONUS!! Perfect size & it doesn’t get easier taking it on & off of things. Highly recommend this awesome little speaker!! (I don’t write reviews very often, either!!)

I’ve had this speaker for a week now. It has been playing very well. I work 10 hr days and the battery holds up. I mostly have the volume halfway or a bit louder at times. I work in a refrigerated warehouse with loud blowers. I adjust the volume to which part of the warehouse I am and no issues. To power on is simple and it connects to my phone incredibly fast. It definitely makes my work days more enjoyable having my favorite music. Thank you JBL for an awesome speaker. Thank you Amazon for the great deals. If I need another portable speaker I definitely know who and where to go.

I waited for the delivery and received it to use it for my pickleball play, today. Everyone was very impressed as well as I. I started playing my music on my way to the park and I could not believe the clear and perfect base sound for what I expected as many reviews I read and was recommend to purchase this JBL speaker. I purchased this item as a gift to be used as a speaker for the shower. I am the recipient of the gift and it is perfect. It does its job perfectly and has great quality sound. It gets splashed by water quite a bit but even after almost three months, I have absolutely no complaints! In the three months I’ve owned this speaker, and using it nightly for my special shower time, I have only had to charge it once! Great battery life. It also easily and automatically pairs to my phone.
