Works fine, but be sure and watch the tutorial video by HP on HP website. If you have never done a replacement, watch the video twice before you attempt opening the package & doing the installation. Do NOT forget to shake this toner cartridge, as with all toner cartridges. Tutorial video shows how to properly shake the cartridge contents, so you will have consistent black printing. Product description estimates 2300 copier w/ one cartridge, but not all printing will give that many pages, b/c bold print & small print per page will use up more toner ink. If printing becomes inconsistent, take out the toner cartridge and shake it, as described in tutorial. Note that this cartridge is for the HP400 series, not just any HP or other printer.In all fairness, I have only printed 200 copies so far in the weeks since purchased. If I don’t get 1000 pages of black print, I’ll do an UPDATE tothis customer comment. I gave up on inkjet printers, though cheaper, the HP400 series is worth the extra cost.

The price is better than other locations. They are very lightweight, and it almost seems as if they are half-full. They do not last very long. We do print a lot of documents, but it seems it doesn’t last as long as it should. The toner is a good quality.
