    I replaced all four ink cartirdges a couple of months ago. I’ve never had an issue until just the other day. The printer suddenl displayed an error message that said “Cannot recognize the following ink cartridges.” I had never seen this message before. I tried turning off the printer to initialize the printer as stated in the troubleshooting suggestions, but nothin short of buying a new cartridge and replacing the bad cartridge that still had ink left in it.

    The epson printer has been great, I have used it for years. These cartridges are convenient and easy to install. They were shipped in an expidious fashion. The curious element of the purchase is the cartridges now cost as much as the printer did when it was originally bought. Go figure, still worth every penny.

    Ink way over priced and I use half of it to keep the heads clean, clog easily, but that is the workforce series problem. I constantly have to clean the heads with maintenance button to use the printer or it just skip prints.
