Nice basic desk calculator. Big enough to be able to easily see, read and use, yet small enough that it doesn’t take a bunch of space. The solar feature works fine and the battery life is very acceptable. I’ve had one for many years; when my wife took it over I purchased another for myself. Found no reason to change. Good calculator, great value.

I think this is my fifth Casio MS-80B. Not because they keep failing, but because through the many years we’ve used them, we’ve come to love this calculator. They are durable and last for years, but everything eventually wears out, particularly with four boys at home! The price is right, the display is easy to read, and the buttons have a nice spring to them. It’s a solar calculator, so you don’t have to worry about batteries. The solar panel is sensitive, so low light levels still make the calculator work great. The display is raised at a slight angle for easy viewing. There is a matching indicator in the display that lets you know which function you last pressed (e.g., addition, subtraction), so if you’re totaling your checkbook, you’ll know where you left off. There are other features that I’m confident I’ll never use, so you can check out other reviewers opinions on those. I purchased a second calculator as my wife has recently gone back to accounting and uses our other MS-80B. Suffice it to say, as long as Casio makes the MS-80B, that will be our go-to for calculators!

Had to replace my old Cascio calculator which finally broke down after 9 years or so. With a track record like that, I decided to buy this Casio, overall same design, the only difference was that the new one had an off button. The display is easy to read and even the touch of the keys feel definite and substantial. This price (believe it or not) ) was less than I paid for my old one which I bought in a office goods store. Highly recommend for anyone who is looking for quality and accuracy.

Yes, computers can do the math for you if you find the little calculator icon and then fiddle just a bit with the mouse or keypad. Yes too, lots of people like me prefer to keep a physical calculator handy. This is just the right size (I had a bigger one before). It takes up little space on the desk or in the drawer, but the buttons and the display are still pleasantly large. Modest price, but doesn’t look or feel cheap. Great product.

I like this calculator because it’s small, yet I can easily read the numbers. For the price, you can’t go wrong.I have a shallow front drawer on my desk and I like that this can easily fit into it without hitting. Very happy with this purchase.
