On one occasion I tried to cheap out and buy inexpensive ink. The ink refills would not even fit into my computer ink cassettes properly although it said it would, so that same night I had to order the real deal. This is the only ink I can use in my Canon printer and it’s perfect. Grateful Amazon allowed me to return the other ink.

The ink is fine. Canon is sleazy because it forces PDFs to use color inks even when printing in monochrome. Almost everything is a PDF today. Drains color inks for no reason.

There are less-expensive, not-really-Canon ink cartridges available. But NO ONE ELSE matches the superb color qualities of Genuine Canon ink cartridges. (More than 30 years messing with computers/printers.)
