Windows drivers didn’t work great. I ended up deleting the default drivers, then having it find correct drivers automatically. Very easy, but didn’t work first try. Probably more my setup than the device. It works great.

The TP-Link USB Bluetooth Adapter for PC is a true game-changer when it comes to expanding connectivity options for your computer. This tiny dongle has made a significant impact on my PC experience, and I’m thrilled to share a positive review.First and foremost, the plug-and-play functionality is a huge plus. The setup couldn’t be simpler; just plug it into a USB port, and it’s ready to go. There’s no need for additional drivers or complicated configurations, which is fantastic for those of us who value simplicity and convenience. The compact, nano-sized design of this Bluetooth adapter is impressive. It’s so small that it doesn’t protrude from the USB port, making it a sleek and unobtrusive addition to my computer. It’s perfect for laptops and desktops alike, and you can leave it plugged in without worrying about it getting in the way.The Bluetooth 4.0 technology ensures fast and reliable connections. Whether I’m connecting wireless headphones, a keyboard, a mouse, or any other Bluetooth-enabled device, the adapter handles it all with ease. The range and stability of the connections have been exceptional.Furthermore, the TP-Link brand is synonymous with quality and reliability, and this Bluetooth adapter is no exception. I have confidence that it will continue to perform flawlessly over time. The TP-Link USB Bluetooth Adapter for PC is a must-have accessory for anyone looking to add Bluetooth connectivity to their computer. Its ease of use, compact design, and reliable performance make it a valuable addition to any tech setup. Whether you need it for work, gaming, or entertainment, this dongle delivers on all fronts and has greatly improved my PC experience. Highly recommended!

As an avid linux enthusiast, finding equipment that works on my favorite distro is important. It’s easy to use and works just like it should. I recommend this to anyone that needs a Bluetooth dongle

Super happy to read other reviews that this feature works & can confirm if this is what you are looking for, it works! I’ve only had the adaptor for a few days so I can’t comment on stability just yet – I just did some basic connectivity tests w an official OEM Nintendo Wiimote Plus (integrated, *not* the newer TR version) on macOS and two distros of Linux (including one that is Ubuntu based). I don’t have multiple Wiimotes to test so I can’t speak how well it handles 2-4 controllers at the same time. What I’ve discovered so far is that it *will* remember your pairing between reboots (yeay!) provided you are using the adaptor in the same OS (including macOS) – otherwise you’ll find yourself having to resync the device.I’ll have to test more titles with it but so far so good and while I would have loved it to maintain pairings across OSes, it does exactly what I’m looking for it to do right now.UPDATE (1/14/2024): I spoke too soon – I was able to use the same LinkKeys across Linux and macOS and it remembers the pairing on either OS! I will note that I got a bit of stubborness in macOS where it looked like it wasn’t working and I was about to give up – persistence paid off. I also do have to note that I don’t have the same LinkKeys (that work both in Linux and macOS) working in Ubuntu yet and think it’s because I’m using a development build. I’ll post an update if a more stable build gets this to work but right now, I’m a happy camper I have a *single* Wiimote pairing across Linux and macOS and now exceeds my expectations for this BT dongle!

I purchased a cool retro keyboard but did not realize it only connected by cord or blue tooth – and did not come with the little nano plug. My desktop at work does not have blue tooth ability. My mistake. I was so happy to find this nano plug. As soon as I plugged it in, it was discovered and I was off and typing!!

Should’ve bought more honestly, cause now I want one for the non-bluetooth tv’s. Haven’t had any issues with the adaptor thus far and I’ve had them for a few years. Fear not, it is literally plug and play.
