As I started in the title this was the same model # as my old remote. This means no fumbling to relearn where they rearranged the buttons.Some of the buttons on my old remote were getting difficult to push.At a price of just Under $10, it was a no-brainer and now I have a spare. I’m a retired electronic tech but I have no idea how to change channels, volume, or anything else on this Sony TV without a remote. 🤣As just a spare to have around it’s well worth it.

It’s a good replacement remote. Does the job I needed it to, with all the familiar buttons. The sensor on the front doesn’t turn red like my other remotes when I push the button. But it worked just fine. I’m not sure if the original remote turned red. But I see that on my other remotes and if it’s out that’s a good indication I need to put in new batteries. Other than that it worked fine, and I didn’t think I needed to take off a star just for that.
