I bought these and hooked them up on my outdoor patio. They have been outside through rain, hail, snow, etc… No fading, no weathering, they are holding up well. The sound is good sure there are better-sounding ones on the market, but not at this price point. You are getting something great for your money here.

The media could not be loaded. There are a lot of reviews poo-pooing the bass response. If the bass was your concern, why would you look at a speaker with a 4″ driver? One reviewer compared them to a speaker at 2x the price! How does that make sense? That’s like buying a Toyota C-HR and then complaining about acceleration. These are not for critical listening or dance parties. These are for outdoor music at reasonable levels. And at that, they do a very good job. They look nice. They are smaller and blend in well.I’m driving mine with a $20 (Parts Express, $30 on Amazon) Lepai amp and older dot w/audio out. It’s a great setup that is part of a whole house system. With Alexa and Spotify, I can play music inside and out.

These speakers have a great sound to them. I installed them on my patio for when having cookouts or get togethers. They are very clear and loud and 2 of them are plenty for a half acre. They don’t have much low end base but still sound really good playing music.

I have these speakers 30 feet apart on my very wide back deck. One tucked and pointed at my pool and left side of my back yard, the other on my covered deck facing the other side of my back yard. I am on two acres and my neighbors can very clearly high hear them through their dense trees. Incredible sound for the price. Not very bass-y, expected when outdoors, but great sound quality overall; very happy. Great build quality as well and attactive. I am running them through a Fosi bluetooth amplifier that I highly recommended as well.

I purchased these outdoor speakers to replace an older set (connected to an indoor system) on my patio. They are mounted under 3 foot eaves that can cause muffled and overly-bass sound. These speakers are easy to install and can be positioned vertically or horizontally. I lowered the height equal to the bottom of my eaves and mounted them vertically, spaced at approx. 30 ft. The sound quality is impressive with clearer sound than my old ones. I don’t notice distortion at higher volumes, but then I use these mostly for background music anyway.

I am a Polk fan having had those as my primary home theater speakers, but in my theater I have a large subwoofer and don’t use the Polk speakers for bass. These outside speakers are about the same size and so I was doubtful of good low frequency (bass), but I was wrong, they have strong bass for such a small package. And also impressive they do that outside on my deck with no walls, which makes it easier for sound in general to get lost. If I crank it up I can hear music pretty well 100’s of feet away. You may want to avoid that if you have close neighbors!As far as outdoor durability, seems good so far, I’ve had mine up for about 3 months and they look about the same other than a little dirty.Spend a little extra over the cheaper outdoor models and get these!

Moved in new house and needed speakers for back porch and pool area so purchased and installed these under the eaves. They work great when cooking out, pool parties, and laid back evenings. They have been used about 600 hours per year, hours at a time in weather ranging from 55 degrees to over 100 degrees, and been through category 2 Hurricane Michael. My Harmon Kardon receiver laid down on me the other day so I had to order a new garage receiver and was looking at the speakers. I ended up on the Polk 4 and Amazon flashed a message that I purchased these in 2012. I probably never wrote a review but doing so now because it’s a good thing to know how long stuff lasts. Who knows they might outlast the new receiver.
