Bought this extension cord to connect to a Korg synthesizer which has a short factory PSU cable..This Mextension cord is thick. Rated to 13 amps. Should be indestructable.. Black matches my decor. . $6 for 6 feet. Perfect length for my application.

I purchased two of these extension cords. One is intended for my sewing room, and I needed one that was heavy duty enough to run some of my machines. It works great – no overheating and breakers tripping. So tired of the cheap ones from the local big box stores.

If you just need a short cord for one device that has to be grounded, this is the way to go! Our house is so old that all it has for heat is 2 gas heaters (one in the living room and one in the kitchen) that need power to run the circulation fans, but the one in our living room is mounted too high for the short power cord to reach the nearest outlet. I really didn’t want to have a coil of extension cord sitting on the floor getting in the way of my vacuum. Then I found this! Problem solved. It’s the perfect length so now we can run the circulation fan for our heater and the cord doesn’t lay on the floor, so I don’t have to worry about running over it with the vacuum.

Major problem happened. I needed to plug something in. But I needed 1 1/2 feet more!I go to Walmart, nothing, no luck.Went to Home Depot as well. The place that had everything. But no luck either! But one day, a bright light with a beautiful noise starts radiating from my phone. There it was… AMAZON PRIME. Found not one or 2 or 3 but 5 other perfect sizes. I chose this one for its simplicity and man did it save me.
