I cannot image using my Insta360 x3 without this remote. It connects to the camera very quickly and allows for control of your camera without stopping and adjusting the camera. I sometimes wear the remote on my arm, other times, I just connect it to the selfie stick. I have done walk throughs of a few museums with the camera on the stick, above my head, attached to my backpack. I have full control of the camera for taking 360 pictures and video without taking off the backpack and adjusting the camera.I have used it to take 360 pictures of houses that are going on the market. Place the camera on a stick and tripod and step out of the room and press the button on the remote to take a 360 picture of the room without being in the picture, anywhere.The remote lets you know the SD card and battery status of the camera without needing to keep looking at the camera, every 10 to 15 minutes.For me, this remote should have come with the camera. It is a must have accessory that once you start using it, you cannot do without it.

You always need that option to start and stop your camera to avoid jumping. Your phone is a nice back up but it is not as easy as this gadget.

I bought this to use while riding my bike. I had only been able to shut the camera off by collapsing the invisible stick. This required an edit later on due to the camera recording my collapsing the stick and then shutting the camera off. As an added bonus I can now set the camera up on a tripod or some other way and record or stop recording up to 65′ away. It solved my problem. It is very user friendly as well.

My wife was always having to fiddle with her phone while on her bike (dangerous) to turn camera off and on. So i bought her this remote and now it is much safer. She clips it to her belt loop and reaches down and hits one button.. A lot safer.. Well worth it. You could mount it to the bars but don’t recommend using the strap that comes with it.

Using on my Insta360 X3 and it’s pretty cool. There are a lot of overlays and options when using the desktop version of Insta360 Studio and adding in the Speed and even GPS route like a race track is pretty awesome. This is especially great if you’re trying to make videos where you want your speed accurate. Would be especially useful if using your 360 camera as a motorcycle dashcam and need to show insurance you weren’t speeding
