When using the USB ports on the back of my tower, I sometimes needed to keep the keyboard really close to my desk in order for it to work smoothly I plugged this wire into the same slot, but once I plugged the dongle into this extension, I could avoid having metal (from my computer case) between it and the keyboard. Now, I can even move my keyboard to the other side of my office and it works great. Well worth the investment.

Seems like many USB peripheral’s need a longer cord. Be sure to see your device specifications. Some High speed devices should not be used with an extension cord. But printers, Keyboards are good candidates. I’ve used some external DVD record /play devices with good results. In some instances your may just have to try and decide.

This has been a game changer for me. No more struggling with a short cord. I also travel with this as some hotels don’t have an outlet where I need one. Make sure to have a cube and attach your actual phone charging cord to this. Works like a charm.

I bought some cool Christmas lights, but when I received them, I found they were powered by a USB plug. I ordered this extender and of course Amazon delivered quickly. This extender worked great in the below freezing temps, snow and continuous use during the holidays. This worked perfect for my needs!

I love this usb extender! Nowadays every device comes with charge cords that are 2-3 inches long. I have to go under my desk to charge them and it’s a hassle. This essentially makes items easily chargeable on desk.As for quality, the cord is thicker than I expected. Much thicker than most charge cords. I suspect because it is also a data cord for a keyboard for example but I only use to charge.I haven’t had it very long so I can’t comment on how long it’ll last but I’ll update if it burns fast.As for now, I absolutely love it and made my life easier. My back doesn’t have to break everytime I need to charge my portable battery. I might get a few more for other rooms.Thank you Amazon.

I put a lot of photos and videos on a USB thumb drive to view on our LG TV.My old Samsung had about 4 USB ports but this new TV has one. It’s difficult to reach behind this TV to plug or unplug a drive.I bought this, leave it connected 24/7. and I’m easily able to change thumb drives from in front of the TV. No more worrying about breaking one off, or the port on the TV. It just makes my needs easier to accomplish.Great speed rate, and seems very well made.

It has a good transfer rate and the videos or movies play smooth and crystal clear. I would recommend this cable, if you need a long extension to hook up to any device that uses USB-A connection.
