Wu-Tang Is For The Children! –
Came in a resealable “Ziploc” bag. Has a thick gauge to it, which makes it a bit stiff, but has a quality feel. It is 3 feet, which mean it has to be close to the computer/device. Be mindful that it’s a USB A to B, which means one ends in the more blocky B style. I use it for an external hard drive, but printers also use this style. You also need the port that has the extra part on top (old devices may not have this port). If you look at the picture, it’s a square with an added rectangle on top of it.I got the added speed over the old style that only has the square part. The gold plating is a nice touch, but also helps with reliability. The one slight negative is that it can be snug when inserting into the normal USB A side. At least it won’t come loose easily. Quality product at a great price. Would highly recommend if you need this cable.

I needed a USB cable for my used Asus Monitor! and the stock 5ft wouldn’t have been long enough anyways! this was perfect!

Not a whole lot to say… it’s a USB cable haha. They don’t feel cheap. Have a nice bendy feel to them. I bought the 10′ cables and haven’t had any issues with latency so far. Would highly recommend them.

Every went fine. It was for a docking station.

This is a very high-quality cable but unfortunately it was damaged in shipping. However, since I have bought these before I am confident to make a review on them though.

I bought two packs of the 6 ft. cables (total of 4 cables). I opted for the blue color. The cables are TOO SNUG for the ports on my iMac, my two MacBook Pros, my Mac Book Air, and a hub. They are so tight on my computers, I am concerned that i will ruin my ports taking the cables in and out.I have purchased Cable Matters in the past – the same exact model. I have 4 black ones from years 2017 and 2019, and they work fine. They are not too snug for the ports on my computers. I have not had any problems with the black ones I purchased in prior years.I am wondering why I’m having trouble with the ones I just bought in July 2023. And, I am very concerned that I will do damage to the ports on my computers. I REALLY have to struggle to get the USB A part of the cable out of my computer ports. I have to pull very hard to get the cables out. The other end (USB B) is also snug on my devices, but it’s not as tight as the USB A end. If I keep doing this, I am afraid I will absolutely ruin the ports.I’m afraid to keep these cables. The way I use them, I cannot just plug them into one of my computers or an external hard drive and leave it set up that way. I need to plug them in and out of the ports on my different computers and devices – for example, to backup a computer to an external drive . I need to use them for different purposes and can’t leave them plugged into the same computer all the time. I’m very concerned any repetitive in/out of these cables will compromise my equipment. If anyone has any suggestions, I’d appreciate them. Do they loosen up over time? Should I return them to protect my equipment?UPDATE: I worked with Cable Matters customer service on the problem. They got back to me immediately, addressed the problem, and were very easy to work with. The customer service reps were very interested in customer satisfaction for their product. They listened to what I had to say. I told them I had purchased these same cables in the past, and had no problems with them. The customer service reps solved my issue very quickly. I would DEFINITELY buy from this company again.

I needed some USB 3.0 cables to connect the hubs on the monitors to the PCs and picked these up. They work as expected.
