The boat I bought had blown speakers. So I decided to get this pair PLMR62. The were an easy drop in installation to the old factory ones. These speakers are a solid construction, and look great with the white cover plate and red PYLE accent letters As soon as I hooked up they sounded great. At a high volume setting they are not distorted and deliver what I needed.. While the new PYLE head unit I installed only delivers 25W RMS to this pair, they sound great. I may later hook up an external amp to drive these up to 75 W rms, I then bought a PYLE 8 in subwoofer & 2 ch amp to create deeper bass , but have yet to trial the total system on the water. but look forward to great music listening. So far these speakers are great for someone wanting a respectable system without breaking the bank.

Absolutely best $ spent. I didn’t want to spend a lot since these speakers have to be replaced every few years. Tired of spending big bucks for just a few hours of use. These speakers definitely get the job done. I couldn’t be happier with them. They even included wire and screws/seal for install. Awesome

Im impressed! I think its been atleast 7 months to a year and ive tortured these things with saltwater and outdoor weather daily! I installed on my boat! Still work like new! Highly recommended

added to my boat, as old speakers were not water proof evidently. and ordered these since water proof. The speakers work good at mid-range volume, but full volume get some distortion. but if play at upper mid range volume, sound is good for background music. And waterproof a plus.

Our pontoon only came stock with 2 speakers in the stern. We added these a couple weeks ago in the bow and we can finally hear all our tunes while floating in the water.Excellent quality and a long time overdue upgrade for our ‘toon.
