I used this to replace the front dashboard tweeter. It’s not present on every Explorer, but my car has the audio speaker upgrade. I had to do some light soldering to attach the wiring from the old speaker to the new one, not a big deal. The old speaker had a custom mount I was unable to use for this new one…but I screwed it to the mounting, just off center, but it works and fits just fine. You’ll know what I mean if you go to do this replacement. Youtube vids show exactly how to get this done.Sound is excellent as far as I can tell. Since this is sold in a pair…I have an extra speaker I have to hold on to.

Always disliked imbalanced audio systems in cars so soon after I installed a 10″ in my ’18 Rav4, I decided to replace some of the stock speakers to try to keep up with the new volume. I’ve had kicker subs going way back and always appreciated the quality so I decided to give their speakers a try.These 3.5″s are perfect for my application. They fit in the stock spots on the dash in my 2018 Rav4. I did find out you need a wiring harness set of connects or you can cut the 4 wires, link both similar color wires together and run them to each terminal with spade connectors.They are LOUD. Very much capable of hitting the high frequencies that ensure the voices, high hats, chimes and other high frequency parts of songs not get lost in the bass. I would agree with the reviews that they can be ear piercing so if you like to listen to music loud, make sure you only purchase these if you have a equalizer auxiliary or built into your head unit so you can adjust the frequencies to avoid this issue. That being said, i couldn’t recommend them enough. Superb clarity. I listen to them pretty loud on my daily commute and in the few months I’ve had them, I’ve had zero issues with clipping.

Before braking in, the sound is extremely harsh for higher frequencies but once the process is completed, it sounds really good. Crystal clear mid range and strong base. Definitely more than you expect for this price.

My wife’s 2015 Ford Edge has the Non-Sony 10 speaker system. The center speaker in the dash behind dash storage compartment had deteriorate due age and sun rot. This speaker was listed as a possible replacement. I liked the UV resistant statement as the speaker will be in full Arizona sun 90% of it’s life. Replacement went smooth. The center grill has 4 plastic tension clips that hold it in place. Replacement is like any other aftermarket speaker installation. The sound quality is very good with no more distortion present. The box comes with two speakers, so I used the second one in a 2019 f250 super duty with the same 10 speaker non-Sony configuration in the center dash location. The install was generally the same and it fits.

I installed these in the dash of my wife’s 1986 GMC Square Body. They fit rather well under the dash pad but sit a little higher than I wanted. Overall they are great speakers for some high’s and I recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade old factory speakers.

I installed these easily in my 21 Jeep Gladiator. They did require an adapter that I had to purchase separately. This did slow down my install because I did not originally purchase one as it stated not necessary. After I got them in …. I’m in love. I’m deaf in one ear and could not hear my factory speakers with the top off on the freeway. Now I can! Looking to buy bigger ones for my soundbar.

worked great for my application. Direct replacement for my factory speakers in the dash of 21 Lexus IS350 F Sport. Sound is really clean and crisp. Super happy with these. They get plenty of power from the factory amp and sound fantastic. 10 stars

I was looking for a budget upgrade to my 2022 Ram 1500 DT (new body style) truck. These are running on the factory base uconnect system with 5 inch screen, along with some Pioneer A series speakers in the doors, and they sound great without an amp. Big difference between these and the factory oem 3.5 inch speakers. If you want a meaningful upgrade at a low cost, look no further, this is it.
