How did we get our start?
It all began back in 2010. Smartphones were just starting to take off and navigation apps were becoming a part of everyday life. The concept was simple, but innovative: design a product that makes navigating on your smartphone while driving safer and easier. From this novel idea came a line of best-selling car mounts.
What makes our products unique?
All of our products are designed from the ground up by our team of engineers in New York City. By treating each new product as a work of art, we hope to change the way people interact with and feel about tech accessories.

Why did I wait so long to get something to mount and hold my phone in the car? Super easy to install and it holds my pixel 7 effortlessly. I feel so much safer using my phone in my car because of this car mount.

When I tried to install this in my PriusV, the sticky pad didn’t adhere. I contacted the seller and was told that I would get a replacement pad. The replacement worked perfectly and I am very happy with my magnetic phone mount. It’s so nice when a company stands by the product and replaces parts without giving you the runaround.

I purchased this mount for my iPhone XS that sits in a pelican case. I was initially concerned that the case would be too “heavy duty” to be used with this mount, but took a chance. Due to version 2 having two (2) magnets, I believe it made all the difference in being able to use my case. It’s sits firm and I can feel the strength of the pull/hold as I attach and detach the phone. The phone does slip/slide to the side if I’m on very bumpy roads, but if it’s a well paved roadway, I have no problems at all. I feel if I had a lighter weight case, that slippage would be virtually eliminated.I attached the larger metal plate of the included two (2) to the bottom end of the case, where the charging cable would go. I did so as I was planning to try wireless charging in the future and needed to keep the back of the phone clear of obstruction as much as possible. I have yet to try that feature and don’t know as of yet if my placement of the large metal plate will prohibit that.Because I placed the large plate at the bottom edge of the case, orienting the phone portrait wise isn’t as stable due to the leverage and weight of the phone and case. If wanting to orient the phone horizontally, I’d recommend placing a metal plate in the center of the case/phone. This is no problem for me as my phone sits primarily in the vertical position. The vent clips and lock are solid. The plastic material is thick and appears to be quite heavy duty. For the few weeks that I’ve owned this mount, I’ve had no problems with the mount on my vent (placed on a 2018 Toyota 4Runner, far left, driver side) or it’s stability. The magnets affecting the phone function are zero. Rare earth magnets are used so it won’t affect electronics or demagnetize things.Overall, I’d highly recommend this mount to anyone looking for a phone mounting solution. I was thinking of going with a cradle, but am real happy that I went the magnetic route. Phone is on and off in seconds and is extremely minimal.

I had another mount that clamped the sides of my phone and it worked great for many years… until the spring broke. No fixing that. I had been looking at magnetic mounts and finally bought this one and… WOW! What a bonehead I’d been! I should have done this years ago! It’s so simple to use, and now when I get in my car, there’s no fuss with mounting, getting the phone just the right way, etc. I just match the plate on the back of my phone to the mount point and it grabs and holds it. I’m not going up mountain trails, but some of the potholes around here are pretty bad, but not once has my phone fallen off. I have used it in my wife’s Jeep Wrangler with no issues, and that can be a very bouncy ride. I have had this for 6 months or so now, and am impressed with the simplicity, durability, and functionality and wouldn’t hesitate to buy another iOttie product.

I received one as a christmas gift by one of my daughters who was afraid with phone sliding around while I was driving I was going to crash. I have no place on dash to “stick” one, so the vent mount worked well. I bought another for my Nissan truck (this one) it does occasionally “pop” off the vent, I’m not sure why, but its better than driving off the road playing with your phone

This is the best magnetic phone holder I’ve found for the car. It’s easy to install, the magnet is strong, and it doesn’t call attention to itself or get in the way of anything. I love the simplicity of its design. There are so many cringy contraptions in the market that don’t do half the job this little item does. I’ve driven on some rough terrain and it’s never dropped the phone. It does its job and looks good doing it.

With so many locations now making it a ticketing offense – and with the hazardous situation – holding your cell phone while you drive, this is a great piece of equipment to attach your phone to the air vent. As it slips over the vent ribs it can be install in either the vertical or horizontal rubs.

My cell phone is a wallet/phone combination. I stuck the magnet on the outside of the wallet, and even with the added weight, it holds well. Easy to put into the CD slot. Been on some “washboard” roads, and it still stuck tight. Will advise if things change.

I love using this. The only drawback is that the vents don’t have quite enough depth to really get this firmly attached without blocking the part of the vent that moves side to side, so sometimes it has fallen off, but in general, I’m very happy with it.

It holds my phone even though I have a wallet attached to the back of the phone!
