This mount attaches securely to the back of your Mag Safe compatible iPhone. The magnet provides a solid attachment to the phone, however, if you are using a camera case, depending on its design, the strength of the magnetic adhesion may be reduced. The ring hinges out and provides a secure ring-grip (put your finger through the ring) for holding the phone, or use the metal ring in the extended position (as a kick-stand) to prop the phone up on a table (on newer phones it will activate the Stand Mode while plugged into a charger). The mount also has a rubberized hook (beside the hinge for the kick-stand) that you can pull out to allow you to mount your camera on your laptop screen, so you can use iPhone’s Continuity Camera feature as your laptop’s webcam, using your phone’s rear-facing camera. I have found that this provides a better-quality webcam than the built-in camera on my laptop.

This is a great way to mount your 15 pro max to your computer and use it as a video cam. Super simple and very sturdy. It also has a little stand that you can set it up and record as well for on the go. Love it.

The product itself works as intended and has had no actual manufacturing flaws or quality issues so I am giving this five stars… but… I have to say that this simply did not meet my needs in the long run and I went with a laptop monitor camera mount, that uses an adhesive base plate, after a few weeks of use… but as I stated, that is not the products fault, I simply did not consider the constant taking it off and putting it back on that would take place. The only piece of advice I would offer to potential buyers is this, the item has to be removed if you intend to use other MagSafe mounting solutions. Seems obvious right? The problem I ran into is that I had purchased this for use with my work laptop and whenever I had to remove this holder, I would stuff it in my backpack, or my work desk, or I would leave it in my hotel room. Any one of various places… that would not be where i needed it to be when it came time to use it. I would take it off of my phone and set it on my desk when I was finished, and then later on I would be at a different location… where I needed this thing and I wouldn’t have it because I left it behind. That has nothing to do with the product itself so I am not blaming Belkin, I am simply sharing my experience. If you are more organized than i am and have better luck at keeping track of things or keeping them in the right place for later use, this will likely not affect you in the same way. Otherwise, great product!

This little device is awesome. I use it all the time. It’s great to have a nice kickstand for watching videos. It is also very convenient to hold without dropping it. The magnets is strong and holds really well. I love that it is MagSafe and can easily be added or removed with minimal effort.

If you’re like me and don’t want to spend over $1,000 on a new MacBook, you probably notice the camera quality just isn’t that great for things like FaceTime, Zoom, or Discord. Well, the good news is that you can now use your iPhone camera as an alternative for your Mac camera!With one of the strongest Magsafe magnets, the Belkin iPhone mount is the perfect solution to improving your laptop camera quality (given you have a newer iPhone). Simply attach the Belkin mount to a magsafe compatible device and prop on the top of your laptop and choose the correct settings on your device. It is a super easy set up and completely changes the quality of your video calls with family and friends.Things to note: You will most likely need to use this without a MacBook case and need to make sure that you’re not moving your laptop around too much or it will potentially fall off.

I bought this so I can use the feature on my MacBook Pro to be able to use my iPhone camera versus using my built-in one. The stand holds up the phone very well, and I love how you can also use it as a stand holder for your phone.

I needed a mount to use my iPhone for online clases and this brand never disappoints. Easy to set up, easy to manage it. could be a little pricey but the quality of the material worth it. I have other belkin products and I’ll be using them for a while.
