Panasonic BQ-CC65AKBBA Super Advanced eneloop pro and eneloop 4-Position Quick Charger with LCD Indicator Panel and USB Charging Port, Black

This is a great charger that allows for charging individual batteries, a lifesaver when a product uses 3 batteries and a normal charger will only work with pairs. The battery restore function is also useful for extending the life of some batteries, but wasn’t able to revive a lot of my used Eneloop pros (I do not recommend buying Pro eneloop batteries as the lifespan is severely limited). Charger is bulky, but smaller than most other professional chargers which have so many more lanes that you might not need

I will preface this with…I have a bit of a rechargeable battery addiction. In addition to this charger, I own the BQ-CC17KSBA, BQ-CC75KSBHA and the BQ-CC55KSBHA. I have about 30+ Eneloop AA Pro, 30+ AA Eneloops and about 100 2300mAH Energizer rechargeables. I do not have a need for this many, but I no longer use alkaline batteries. My biggest gripe with alkaline, other than they’re a waste, is that they are a ticking bomb waiting to explode in remotes and gunk up everything.as for the BQ-CC65AKBB, what I love most this charger is that it charges each individual cell, it doesnt do it in pairs. Its also incredibly good at what it does. i get about 15% more juice out of each battery when I charge them on this charger vs my others. I’m not exactly sure how that is, or how its even possible, but its results I see.I use these in our wireless Schlage deadbolt locks with the Eneloop Pros. Even with a full charge will, the Schlage indicator states they are at 68%. When I recharge the batteries with this charger, that jumps up to 83%.The only thing keeping this s 4 star review vs a 5 star review is that it’s a beefy charger. Significantly larger than the other models. I guess its not really an issue since its not like I’m taking it out of the house, but I ultimately do prefer smaller over larger.One final note. These chargers are hard to find, there aren’t many retailers that carry them. If you want one and Amazon has it available, buy it. I was on the Amazon waitlist for this charger for 4 months. I actually forgot I even ordered it.

…then this is your charger. Many companies have introduced chargers which do more than just charge – they can provide status on battery health and also “condition” the battery – that is, subject the battery to discharge/refresh cycles to restore it to optimum operation. I’d been waiting for Panasonic to introduce a dedicated eneloop deluxe charger. They brought this out a while back, but initially it wasn’t available in the U.S. Since I have some older eneloops, I wanted to get an idea of how they’re doing and if they need replacement. This charger will facilitate this. It does qualify as one of their Quick Chargers, which means it can bring 4 AA’s back from the dead in about 4 hours. The charger also has a handy USB-A output, so you can use your charged AA’s as a power bank to charge other devices, although it’s a little bulky to carry around solely for that purpose. All these features help justify its somewhat high cost. The thing is, you don’t need a bunch of these – just add one to your stable of existing chargers for when you want to condition a battery or want more info on its state.

This charger is far superior to my former Sanyo charger. Another review noted that it extended the runtime so I bought this one. I pulled batteries off the Sanyo showing full and this charger recognized the voltage was still low. I got another 15% per battery. I love rechargeable because they don’t leak and ruin my flashlights. The extra cost is well worth it for a more accurate charge.

I had some Enelope batteries that wouldn’t charge with the battery charger that came with them. This charger was able to charge them with no problem.
