I love how compact this head is, perfect for small cube lights or bigger on camera off camera lights.Having the extra ability to move the light rotate it up and down and left and right on one mount is a time saver. Must have for camera lights

I have always had problems taking overhead shots with my Nikon D7100 and Neewer monitor because the LCD screen is fixed and the adapter that came with the monitor is flimsy. This mount is well made, flexible and very secure. Problem solved.

As someone who is always on the lookout for the best equipment to improve my filming setup, I recently came across the new and improved cold-shoe monitor holder from Neewer. I must say, they really outdid themselves with this one.One of the things I immediately noticed about this all-aluminum monitor holder is its size. It’s small and lightweight, yet super strong, making it the perfect addition to my equipment bag. I was able to easily mount my 7″ monitor and felt confident that it would stay securely in place throughout my shoots.One of the standout features of this monitor holder is the newly added tabs extending out from the cold shoe tightening ring. They’re so much more convenient for tightening the unit to my camera than the simple knurled rings I’ve seen on most cold shoe mount adapters. It’s these small details that really make a difference when it comes to using equipment on a daily basis.But that’s not all, this monitor holder also has both tilt and swivel movements, which means I can point my monitor (or anything else I might have mounted on it) exactly where I need it. The tilting function is obvious because it has a tightening lever on the side, which allows me to adjust the angle of the monitor with ease. The swivel function is not so obvious, as it’s built into the base just below the Neewer logo and has no tightening knob. It’s simply a strongly dampened movement that pivots clockwise or counterclockwise on the center axis. This allows me to make small adjustments without worrying about the monitor holder moving too much.Everything about this small adapter says quality. It’s clear that Neewer has put a lot of thought and care into its design, and the result is a product that exceeds expectations. I can confidently say that if you’re in the market for a new monitor holder, you won’t be disappointed if you choose this one.

This cold shoe field monitor holder is very stable. It supports my video recorder with a large Sony 970 battery without any concern. It is very simple in its build and use. I can set it and basically forget it and know that it will stay in the same position I placed wether I’m walking or jogging with it. This is a very good accessory for anyone using field monitors or recorders that offers stability and flexibility in adjustments.
