The OSMO Pocket 3 is a game changer. Whether you pick one up for vlogging or shooting video it brings a level of quality in such a convenient and cost-effective package it is hard to imagine anything improving the experience it provides. The one item that is critical if you intend to use the Pocket 3 outdoors is a decent ND filter set. The choice then comes down to variable ND vs. fixed. Given the sensitive nature of the gimble on the Pocket 3, I think it better to settle on fixed filters that you swap out by placing and removing them rather than having to rotate a variable ND while on the gimble. This kit by Neewer provides the necessary light reduction allowing you to adjust your Aperture and Shutter Speed manually so you can get the look you are striving for. An additional CPL filter is included in the kit. At this price and with the Neewer brand, this is a great value. There are so many third-party manufacturers of filter sets for the Pocket 3 but with the Neewer brand on this kit, you can be assured you are getting a high level of quality.

Neewer is a name I’ve come to count on for quality camera accessories and these filters do not disappoint.One of the outstanding features of these filters–something even DJI’s own filters can’t offer–is that they’re so thin, you can actually turn off the Pocket 3 and the gimbal can close down completely…WITHOUT removing the ND filter. This is a very valuable feature, since having to remove the filter every time you shut off the camera is, to put it mildly, inconvenient.There are four filters: a ND 16, ND 64 (the one I tend to use the most on a sunny day), ND 256 and a CPL filter (that’s supposed to cut down in glare, like when you’re shooting by water. They come in a small case and are held in place with their magnets. The only tricky think is getting them out of that case and onto the camera lens without covering them with fingerprints. But just in case you aren’t successful (keeping your fingers off the glass), there’s a microfiber cloth included with the filters.Good work, Neewer!

Neewer, as usual, delivers a good product. The filters fit the camera just fine. It is the little things. The circular polarizer has easy to see markings to let you know that the polarizer is fully engaged in the horizontal mode. The filers will not fall out of the case when it is open. The case has a metal base so these small filters stay put magnetically.

外での撮影時に必要なNDフィルターですが、純正が売り切れていたため、DJI POCKET2の時に利用していたNEEWERの物を購入しました。PLもNDもケラれることなく、電源オフ時にも装着したままジンバル収納可能です。ただ、購入後に可変NDフィルターが発売されたので、そちらへの買い替えを検討しています。
