KraftGeek 33″ Selfie Stick Phone Tripod, iPhone and Android Cell Phone Stand, Wireless Remote, Adjustable Phone Holder, Premium Anti-Shake Travel Tripod for Video Recording and Photos

The KraftGeek 33-inch selfie stick tripod is a great concept. It can be used as an ordinary selfie stick or you can expand the small tripod at its base and it will stand freely, holding your phone about 30 inches high. The whole unit collapses down to just 7-3/4 inches. Most of the telescoping parts are aluminum. The feet are plastic, while the braces for the feet are steel. Opening the tripod is a bit of a trick. You grasp the feet at the bottom and separate them a little. Then you pull up on the selfie stick to extend the sections. This completes the process of spreading the feet. The included instruction book is clear about this process as well as other features of this selfie stick. It has a spring-loaded phone holder permanently attached by a hinged joint, which allows you to tilt the phone to almost any angle. You can also rotate the holder for either portrait or landscape shots with your phone. It even slides about 1-1/4 inches on a little rail to allow shifting the phone to one side or the other. An interesting accessory included is a rechargeable Bluetooth remote. It comes with its own USB charging cable. The remote can trip the shutter or start and stop a video. It does not require an App download. All you do is enable Bluetooth on your phone and turn on the remote. When you see the KraftGeek Bluetooth object show up, you select “pair.” After that, anytime you turn on the remote while the camera app is running on your phone, you are ready to take pictures. Of course, this means you don’t need the selfie stick to use the remote. You can stash the remote in your pocket or purse and use it anytime, anywhere. But the selfie stick has a built-in docking slot for the remote, which keeps everything together and ready to use. I do have a few niggles. First, the phone holder is essentially permanently attached. It has a screw, but it is not a standard 1/4″-20 like many accessories use. So, you can only use the phone holder that comes with the selfie stick. However, in defense of that design decision, it is probably the only phone holder in the world that could stow away completely in the handle when the selfie stick is collapsed. Another niggle is that it only extends about 30 inches. Many other selfie sticks extend much farther. However, this is probably adequate for most situations. Another niggle is that I need one hand to separate the jaws of the phone holder, one hand to hold the phone to place it in the holder, and one hand to hold the base of the selfie stick. Unfortunately, I was born with only two hands, meaning one of them must perform double-duty, and the manipulation is a bit awkward. There are many ways to overcome this handicap, but I did notice it took a little planning to insert and remove the phone. The final niggle is that the base of the selfie stick is 1-1/8 inches in diameter, excluding the remote. This seems just a little bulky for a selfie stick. But again, in defense of this design, this is probably one of the smallest, slimmest stands for your phone that you will find. It is quite elegant how they packed so much into this package. So, if you want a phone stand that can double as a selfie stick, this is the way to go. If you don’t think you will ever need a phone stand, then you may want to look at a less capable selfie stick, but remember to consider the size of the phone clip you will need. Overall, this is an amazing design and feels well made and solid. I am very happy with this product.

With these selfie sticks, I always test the remotes first. The remote that somes with this selfie stick connects quickly and easily.I’ve used this selfie stick often. I love using it as a mini tripod because it sits at just the right heigh on my desk and looks sleek while sitting there.As you can see, this thing is built solid! None of the pieces are too thin or rickety.With other selfie sticks, my phone’s weight pulls the phone holder down once it’s at maxium stick height.Thankfully, this one is sturdy and it’s not an issue. I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max btw for weight comparisons.I would check this out if you’re in the market for a covenient stand and for a sturdy selfie stick.

My family loves this selfie stick! We’ve used it for spontaneous family photos out doors and it works great. My kids also use it as a stand when filming stop motion videos. It extends to an impressive length and stays steady. The Bluetooth function on the remote control works great! We’ve had no issues connecting our phones to it, and it is used a lot. Great product! Recommend!

I chose this phone holder to help me take some of the more difficult product photos for my job. I am very happy with how compact this tripod really is. Here’s a quick summary of the highs and lows of this product in my opinion. It is very sturdy, even at full extension. The base has about a 12.5” span and doesn’t tip easily. There is a great range of heights, so you can use it on the floor or on a table. The phone holder has decent angle options and allows you to set up your phone either vertically or horizontally. The included Bluetooth Remote is a great addition and has a storage location built into the handle.The only complaints I have about this stick are pretty small. The white stands apparently tend to come a bit dirty (other reviews up at this time have similar observations) but the marks are easily wiped away with a little bit of cleaner and a paper towel. The release button that holds the tripod legs together is very secure. I have medium to longish nails and had a really hard time pushing it in far enough to release all 3 legs. After the first time, I began using the back end of a pen to push the button instead.Overall I’m very happy with this tripod. It is very compact and can easily be kept in a purse, backpack, laptop bag, and more. Despite its small size, it can extend up to 60” and remain sturdy, giving it a good deal of versatility.
