I picked up this two pack of trackers because I have a bad habit of leaving things behind lately but didn’t want to spend $25-$30 a pop on the fruit branded tracking devices.I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how well these work so far. I stuck one in my shoulder bag and one in my vehicle to test them out. Yesterday I went on a small trip with a friend and left my vehicle at their house. As soon as we got a little ways away from their house, my phone notified me that my vehicle had been left behind. The same thing has happened with my bag when I leave it in the vehicle and walk inside.This makes me feel a little better knowing I can locate it if I leave it somewhere and don’t recall where I left it.While these tracker tags are larger than the well known ones, I liked that it was easier to attach them to things without needing to buy special “holders” for them. They appear on the Items tab in Find My and were super easy to set up. I’ve already recommended them to a few friends who were interested in keeping tabs on things. I’ll likely be picking up more of these at some point because they’re just that handy.

I was waiting for these third party Apple “Find My” Trackers to come up with a bulk purchase option and now we’ve got at least one. Yes you get two trackers in the box with a battery and ready to go. These attach to the Apple Find my app as an “other item” and after that they replicate the functionality found on Apple’s Airtags.These are plastic but feel decent enough. They also are sealed up nicely so they should be splashproof as the marketing language suggests. You will need a small screwdriver when it’s time to replace its battery.The only difference between these and an official airtag is that it doesn’t work with the ultrawideband location feature on the official Apple device. That feature allows for a homing beacon-like functionality when your phone gets within range of the tag. These will only show you its location on a map.The speaker is decent on it for when the alarm is sounded so that might help you narrow down its location.All in a great value for the items you want to track but don’t want to justify the cost of a first-party Airtag.

These “air tags” work similarly to Apple Air Tag but not quite as precise. Apple will play a hot and cold game with the sound as you get closer to the item and pairs almost automatically. Your phone picks it up right away. You pair this one by selecting “other device”. Once paired you use the “Find my” app to locate your items. It will play a sound to help you locate it in the area you are in, or will tell you the approximate address of where it is at. You can set a reminder if you leave it behind to alert you. These have a key ring loop for easy attachment to whatever device. I linked one to keys and another to my zipper on my wallet. For more than half the cost of an Air Tag, I’m very pleased with these and will do what I need it to do!

This was easy to set up on my iPhone using the Find My app on iOS 17. It works as advertised so I can easily recommend it.The only problem I have with it is the way you replace the battery. There is a very tiny screw on the back of the device (see image) that you unscrew, then turn the device upside down to make sure the screw doesn’t pop back into the screwhole then turn the battery cover with a thick coin to get to the battery. Luckily, the screw does not come off completely so the chance of losing it is nil.

I have purchased quite a few Apple Air Tags for my luggage, backpacks, and other items. I’ve purchased them in packs of four for as low as $20 each. Purchasing these are a reasonable purchase to use Apple Find My Application. I first tried to use it like an Air Tag, but that didn’t work (I know, didn’t read the manual) but you need to choose “Add Other Item”. This worked flawlessly and I believe this is what I’m going to use for my kids if they say they need an Apple Air Tag. Very cost affected!

I could not believe how easy these were to set up. Push the button and then hold the button down until it is in pairing mode. Open the Find My app and add Device and it immediately recognizes it. Name your tracker (I named it Airtag1 and Airtag2) and choose an emoji and you’re all set. It makes a cool sound when you try to locate it. I understand why people want to by branded items but these work great and you get 2 of these for 1 low price. They may b a little fatter than a Tile or an Airtag. What a bargain! I highly recommend these!

These are good air tags. They’re very easy to set up because the directions are well written and easy to follow. Don’t know if they’ll last as well as the originals, but they are at a good price. We’ve used air tags for a while and have actually used one to find “lost” luggage. You can put them in anything to track it. If you have an old car with no GPS, you can use these to find it if stolen or if you can’t remember where you parked it.

These are nice little airtag-like devices. They come with batteries, and the battery cover has a screw to keep littles from having a bad day. Time will tell how well they hold up, but they pair and locate with my iPhone. Be sure to click the “Other device” below the large button that they use for Apple branded tags. It doesn’t work if you hit the button – at least, that’s what I’ve been told… anyway, these are a cheap alternative to Apple’s product and I’m looking forward to trying them on our next trip.
