Rogue Legacy 2 Gunslinger Weapon
The Kinetic Revolver is the Gunslinger class’s main weapon of choice. While the Ranger prioritises carefully placed shots with perfect timing, the Gunslinger believes that quality comes through quantity. The Kinetic revolver fires at an absurdly quick rate and holding down attack means that the shots will keep coming right up until the gun is empty. Thankfully, the Kinetic Revolver holds 22 rounds at once, and reloading is a simple and speedy process. And while you can reload and get a full magazine back at any time, it is often worth it to keep firing until you are empty. This is because the final 8 bullets fired are always automatic skill crits, granting a further boost to the class’s already absurd damage potential.
Much like the Ranger, the Gunslinger is another ranged class that is capable of raining down death from above in Rogue Legacy 2. While the ranger must fire its arrows downwards in order to stay aloft, the Gunslinger hovers in place for as long as they keep shooting in mid-air, no matter what direction the bullets are travelling.
Rogue Legacy 2 Gunslinger Talent
Makeshift Explosive is the Gunslinger’s class talent. This is a highly versatile skill that expands the Gunslinger’s toolkit in several interesting and necessary ways. The Makeshift Explosive throws dynamite at the ground, exploding in a cross shape. This explosion deals damage based on your intelligence score, knocks enemies back and destroys projectiles, giving the Gunslinger some much-needed breathing space if they are starting to get pinned down. Dropping the makeshift explosive is a good way to help clear a busy screen and get your Gunslinger out of danger. Additionally, each hit of the explosive restores mana to the Gunslinger, allowing you to start throwing spells immediately and gain back any lost momentum. This, combined with the Kinetic Revolver, means that you are rarely if ever in danger of running out of mana for long.
Gunslinger Class Passive
The Gunslinger’s Class Passive is called Suave. This ability grants you a bonus to your weapon damage of 15% of your int score. This is incredibly useful, as stacking your Int as well as strength onto your weapon damage ensures that the Gunslinger’s shots can rip through enemies before they get close enough to put you in harm’s way. Intelligence upgrades are highly worth investing in if you favour the Gunslinger anyway, based on their strong magic-using capabilities. Suave is just the icing on the cake, but it real does help you to stack up as much damage as possible while breezing through Rogue Legacy 2’s biomes with your pistol at your hip.
