If you’ve ever wanted to beat up the characters from Persona 4, then you’ve been waiting for Persona 4 Arena Ultimax to come out on Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Microsoft Windows.
It won’t be long now before we can play the game on the go, as the title should be coming out in just a few months.
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax Release Date
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax has been available on various different platforms since 2013, and the devs and publishers have been porting this thing to various systems ever since.
Well, now it’s finally making its way to the world’s best platform. The game will be hitting PC, Switch, and PS4 on March 17th, 2022, closing up the story of the original Persona 4 Arena that preceded it.
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax Trailer
This is one of the many spin-off titles that was spawned from the insanely popular Persona 4, this being the second fighting-game take on the same universe. You and several characters from both Persona 3 and Persona 4, team up to take a new mystery a few years after the ending of the main game.
As with most games in the Persona sub-series, this game is a mixture of gameplay, half tournament fighter, half visual novel. The tournament fighter sections play out exactly as you’d expect of a tournament fighter. You and another character duke it out on a 2D plane, but damn if it isn’t one of the smoothest fighting games you’ll ever play.
Check out the trailer for the game below and you’ll see what we’re talking about. If you’re already a Persona 4 fan, now’s your chance to check it out in a whole new light.
