Last week, we heard that OnePlus is planning to launch the Nord CE2 5G (previously called Nord 2 CE) in February, and that information is now corroborated by reliable tipster Max Jambor, who says the smartphone will arrive on February 11.
Jambor also shared an image showing the Nord CE2 5G’s camera island housing an LED flash and three cameras. It looks similar to the one we’ve seen on the Oppo Reno7 SE 5G, which is no surprise since leaked specs and renders suggest the Nord CE2 5G will be a rebadged Reno7 SE 5G with a better camera system and faster charging. It will also have a 3.5mm headphone jack onboard.
The Reno7 SE 5G charges at 33W, but the Nord CE2 5G will go up to 65W. It will also swap the 48MP primary camera with a 64MP unit and the 2MP depth sensor with an 8MP ultrawide camera while retaining the 2MP macro camera.
