KUKA HOME, one of the world’s largest producers of upholstered furniture, will showcase new product lines for its North American customer base here in an expanded showroom at the Spring High Point Market.
Following the opening of KUKA HOME’s new 30,000 sq.ft. Las Vegas Showroom in January, the company has expanded its High Point showroom at 210 S. Main Street by almost 8,000 sq.ft. to a total of 73,540 sq.ft. as it debuts a new promotionally priced power and manually operated motion upholstery line called Relax Avenue at the HPMKT. KUKA will also show its mattress line in High Point for the first time in a mattress gallery adjacent to the Relax Avenue display.
Relax Avenue
“Relax Avenue diversifies our product offering as we enter a new segment of business focused on opening price points in power and manual motion upholstery,” said Matt Harrison, President of KUKA HOME North America. “This collection enables us to offer starting price points to existing customers and to expand our business with new customers,” he said.
“The Relax Avenue line is made in Vietnam and features our Kuka-made K-Tron mechanisms,” he added.
Relax Avenue motion upholstery offers plush seating in fabric and leather covers with generously padded arms and channeled backs, and features USB ports, cupholders and hidden storage for the ultimate in laid-back living
Mattress Showroom Gallery
KUKA HOME has been producing its own line of memory foam and innerspring mattresses in a 250,000-square-foot facility near Monterrey, Mexico for nearly two years. This spring marks the first time the company has displayed its mattress line at HPMKT, featuring a Mattress Gallery with about a dozen models. “We are offering a full range of comfort and support options for both memory foam and innerspring mattresses in a variety of fabrics and foams,” said Michael Carter, vice president of sales for KUKA’s mattress division. “We will have on display many features and benefits, such as cooling, breathability and sustainable materials. We will create customized programs for each retailer using their brand name and cover selection,” he said.
The new showroom addition includes a café for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning or a place to relax in the afternoon.
In addition to these new galleries, KUKA HOME has several fresh designs in trend-focused stationary and function-packed motion upholstery.
In stationary, the company is introducing the new Mediterranean Collection with six groups. This trendsetting new style category is an updated take on KUKA’s California Casual category, which has been very successful in past markets. The collection features relaxed, casual designs with generous scale and natural finishes inspired by the beautiful Mediterranean coast. Earth tones and deep ocean blues mix with airy neutrals to create a seaside-themed escape.
KUKA also has several new stationary designs to be introduce in its in-line seating categories.
KUKA’s motion line has various new styles featuring casual motion looks and the latest innovations in technology and design. “We’ve expanded our recliner program with additional designs and functionality including super zero gravity and heat & massage,” said Harrison.
The company will continue to show LUXE CINEMA, offering the ultimate home theater experience with show-stopping pieces and built-in technologies and pop-in accessories.
