This High Point Market, John Thomas Furniture, Whitewood Industries’ casual dining and bedroom division, will introduce its Curated Collection — a ready-to-go, mix-and-match dining assortment made up of the company’s best-selling pieces and finishes. The collection will offer retailers, and shoppers, a semi-customized program at a fraction of the time the company’s custom finished program SELECT requires.
“Time is today’s currency,” states Bryan Sprinkles, John Thomas Furniture’s VP of Sales and Marketing. “Though the surge in shoppers’ desire to make-over, remodel, and buy home furnishings is a dream come true for manufacturers, that surge coupled with the challenges of importing goods has been debilitating. Many shoppers are willing and able to wait the extended lead times for fully customized furniture. Those that aren’t, or can’t, will have a strong option with our new Curated Collection.”
The collection, which the company will stock in it’s Thomasville manufacturing facility, will encompass nine tables and three chairs that are available in Chalk, Cognac, Denim, Wheat, and Nickel finishes. Shoppers can choose a single finish or two-tone, and also have the option to choose a wood seat or an upholstered seat from the company’s expanded soft seating program. Table options include three tops, each with unique base options.
“We’re very excited about what this will offer our retailer partners,” states Sprinkles. “Stocking components of best-selling chairs and tables that can be mixed-and-matched by shoppers — and offered at a fraction of the time — is a no-brainer.”
The company will showcase six sets during the High Point Market that can be seen at their 215 S Main Street Showroom. The collection will begin shipping late summer with a starting price point (MSRP) for a table and four chairs of $1,499.
