The International Casual Furnishings Association (ICFA) announces Eli Hymer, of Gasper Home & Garden Showplace, Richboro, Pa., is the 2022 Chair of ICFA’s Retail Council.
He is joined on the executive committee by First Vice Chair Melissa Glikes of Sisset’s in Gainesville, Fla.
Hymer is a department manager, buyer and designer at Gasper’s, which won ICFA’s prestigious Apollo Award for retail excellence in 2020. In addition to leading the Retail Council, Hymer serves on ICFA’s Board of Directors.
The ICFA Retail Council represents approximately 120 outdoor specialty store members nationwide and provides a strong voice in the leadership of the association. The Retail Council is the sponsor of the ICFA Retail Seminar and Think Tank, now slated for Monday, July 18, the day before the opening of Casual Market Chicago on July 19.
In addition to Hymer and Glikes, members of the Retail Council with terms expiring at the end of 2022 are Karen Brams, Island Living & Patio Inc., West Palm Beach, Fla.; Grant Henegan, The Fire House Casual Living Store, Charlotte, N.C.; and Lee Reccia, American Casual Living, Suwanee, Ga.
Members with terms expiring at the end of 2023 include Amy Arant, Wrapsosdy Outdoor Living, Blue Ridge, Ga.; Don Davis, Heat n Sweep, Okemos, Mich.; Panatda Hengboonyaphan, The Wickery, South Toms River, N.J.; Scott Horvath, O’Malia’s Living, Carmel, Ind.; and Penny Waugh, Patio Productions, San Diego, Calif.
New directors with terms expiring at the end of 2024 include Jeremy Hodges, Hauser’s Patio & Rattan, San Diego; Micah Maydew, Fruehauf’s Patio & Garden, Westminster, Colo.; John McGrann, Penn Stone Outdoor Living, Lancaster, Pa.; Joy Odom, ABSCO Fireplace & Patio, Birmingham, Ala.; and Jack Wills, Jack Wills Outdoor Living, Tulsa, Okla.
