If you’re making your way through the new Witch Queen expansion for Destiny 2, you’ve probably encountered the new weapon crafting system that has been introduced. This means that you need to farm for more materials to get the weapons you truly want to use in both PvE and PvP.
There are a bunch of different materials needed such as Ruinous Element, Resonant Alloy, Ascendant Alloy, and what we’ll be covering today – Neutral Element.
Below, we’ll take you through what Neutral Element is, what it’s used for, and the quickest way of getting a hold of some.
What is Neutral Element?
One material that is essential for weapon crafting is Neutral Element and if you dont know how to get more of it, you’re going to be at a loose end when wanting to do a bit of Reshaping. You also need over 2000 Neutral Element before you even think about getting the new Exotic SMG – Osteo Striga, so you better get to grinding.
If you’re desperate for that Neutral Element, here’s how to farm it as quickly as possible so you can get to crafting those weapons instantaneously.
How to get Neutral Element in Destiny 2: The Witch Queen
The quickest way you can get Neutral Element is to acquire weapons with a red border around them also known as Deepsight Resonance weapons. These weapons have an ‘Attunement Progress’ bar when you hover over them which needs to be completed all the way up to 100%. To do so, simply use the weapon extensively and you should see some serious gains.
Once this has been completed, you will be rewarded with 200 Neutral Element which is far above and beyond the 15 you typically get from using a crafted weapon.
While this is still a large amount, you’d still need to complete 10 of these red border weapons to even get remotely close to the Osteo Striga, for example, so what we suggest is that you aim to get three of these weapons in your loadout to all use at the same time and run some Strikes for maximum effect.
