Doctor Strange leads the Resistance in Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 2. No, this isn’t some strange Marvel x Star Wars crossover (yet). The Resistance is the new name for the good guys in the ongoing battle between The Imagined Order and, well, a bunch of other groups including you. And Doctor Strange has joined the fight. So how do you get the new Doctor Strange skin in Fortnite?
How to get Doctor Strange skin in Fortnite
In order to get the Doctor Strange skin in Fortnite, you’ll need to get all the way to Battle Pass level 100. And just as a warning, that might take you a little bit longer than expected this season. That’s because, in Chapter 3, Season 2: Resistance, the amount of XP needed for leveling up has changed. With 75,000 XP needed for every level, you will need to earn more XP overall to max out your Battle Pass.
You will need the full, paid-for Battle Pass track in order to redeem the Doctor Strange skin, as well. While you can earn some free rewards without buying the full Battle Pass, such as V-Bucks and Loading Screens, items such as Weapon Wraps and Outfits all require the full Battle Pass – and that includes level 100’s Doctor Strange. However, if you don’t spend them, you do earn enough V-Bucks from Battle Pass levels 1 to 100 to buy next season’s full pass. As such, you should only ever need to pay real money once! (Unless, again, you just can’t help but spend them!!)
Doctor Strange bonus Fortnite skins
What’s more, with Doctor Strange as the final Outfit in the main Battle Pass levels, we can safely assume that there will be some variant outfits for the Multiverse of Madness character in the Bonus Rewards, as well. The final three Bonus Rewards pages are locked until March 30, 2022, but there will definitely be some Doctor Strange variants hidden behind those question marks.
Much like Spider-Man leading the Chapter 3, Season 2 Battle Pass in conjunction with the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, the latest Marvel collaboration perfectly lines up with the release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in May, 2022. For this reason, fans are already speculating that there might be more Marvel skins to come this season – with Wanda Maximoff still a blinding omission.
