Pokemon Legends: Arceus has a bunch of character customization options for you to play around with. From swapping hairstyles to changing footwear, you should be able to find the perfect combination for your Pokemon Trainer.
However, you’ve got yourself some new threads either from the Jubilife tailor or from pre-ordering the game but don’t know how to put them on? Well, you’re probably not alone. While Game Freak does give you a bunch of hints for various aspects of the game, it does not give you any in regards to changing outfits right off the bat, this comes after a couple of quests. This hint only occurs once too so if you’re 40 hours in and have soaked in a plethora of info, you might have simply forgotten how to do it.
If you want to get to changing that outfit right away, you’re going to need to follow the below steps.
How to change outfits in Pokemon Legends: Arceus
If you want to change out of that starter outfit right away, you need to head to your personal quarters located in Jubilife Village. Once inside, go all the way to the back of the house and look to the right hand side where you should see a mirror. Upon looking at the mirror, press A and you will be met with a prompt for whether you want to change your outfit, press yes to continue.
Once you’re ‘looking’ in the mirror, cycle through the various items of clothing you’ve gathered using the left stick and R/L buttons to move between categories. Hit A when you’ve chosen a piece you want to put on then B to finish changing and A again to confirm on the follow-up option choice.
If you want more outfit options, you’re going to need to progress in the game, buy more from the Jubilife Village Tailor, or have preordered the game where you get free in-game cosmetics. There are a whole bunch of different clothing items on offer so go mix and match your Trainer’s fit and catch those Pokemon in style!
