Valorant’t latest Agent has only recently been revealed, but her release is just around the corner. Fade’s addition will mean a shadowy recon specialist will join the roster, challenging Sova. Her abilities will bring a range of ways to reveal enemy positions, holding them in place and reducing their senses. Truly nightmarish stuff coming from her shadows.
While Fade might be stealing the show, don’t let it distract from the new battle pass which will be coming with the new Act. Filled with free cosmetics, as well as paid ones for the usual 1000 VP, this battle pass will go live with the release of Episode 4 Act 3.
The free pass will include the likes of the Ragna-Rock Out and UltraBright Torch buddies, the Look Behind You spray, and the Coalition: Cobra skin for Frenzy.
When it comes to the paid pass, there’s plenty of content to be unlocked, including three exclusive skin lines. First up is the SYS line, which is a new take on an old favourite and available for the Vandal, Bucky, Sheriff, Stinger and Melee.
With it also comes the Coalition: Cobra skins. These come in a variety of colours and are available for the Frenzy, Judge, Marshal and Odin.
To round it out, we have the Hue Shift line. Designed for players who can’t decide between equipping pink and blue weapons.
Coming with the gun skins are a total of 16 sprays. Most of these have ties to various memes, as Riot looked to make the accessories lean more into the memes that the players use every day. We have Terrible Day for Rain which was inspired by the dismay of Cypher mains as their favourite Agent is killed in yet another cinematic. We can also see Omen seemingly reenacting a scene from the horror franchise Scream. A personal favourite is Bawk Bawk Brimstone. It seems that Valorant is moving in a more community-focused way with their releases, featuring fun sprays as well as skin line switch appeal to a wider variety of players.
The new Act will also bring back the RGX 11z Pro Collection too. With a cyberpunk aesthetic, the first drop won fans over. Now it returns, with customisable LED lights akin to gaming hardware, and a kill tracker, for the Phantom, Operator, Classic and Spectre as well as a butterfly knife for Melee.
Episode 4 Act 3 is due to be released tomorrow, April 27th. Fade is also confirmed to have a matching release date, so should be available to play as soon as the patch goes live.
