Elden Ring Liurnia of the Lakes dungeon locations

Last Updated:

There are so many dungeons in Elden Ring that trying to clear them all is quite an undertaking. It’s also completely necessary to clear all of the dungeons if you want to find all of the best items, spells, and upgrades in the game. To help you out in your dungeon-crawling quest, we’ve put together this map of Liurnia of the Lakes dungeon locations so you won’t spend the next eternity searching for yourself.

Liurnia of the Lakes dungeon locations

Liurnia of the Lakes Dungeon Locations

Liurnia of the Lakes has seven dungeons scattered throughout, mostly towards the bottom half of the map, but the few further up are well worth visiting. At least one or two of them will be your main source for upgrade items, and on top of that, the Raya Lucaria Crystal Cave will give you an item that lets you purchase low-level upgrade items an infinite number of times so it’s well worth the visit.

Stillwater Cave

It’s Miyazaki’s favorite thing, a poison-filled hellhole. This cave is stacked with poison-spewing enemies, cave bats, and a lot of poison goop. You might think that the boss would also poison you, but no, for good measure he goes for scarlet rot. Still, it might be worth it if you’re trying to collect all of the Talismans in the game.

Cliffbottom Catacombs

If you’re a fan of imps that deal bleeding damage, then you’re strange, but you’ll get what you’re looking for here in Cliffbottom Catacombs. On the plus side, you’ll also find some pretty cool ashes from the boss fight who is one of the standard Burial Watchdogs that you’ve probably already seen numerous times in the game at this stage.

Lakeside Crystal Cave

The rewards from Lakeside Crystal Caves aren’t that great, but it’s not a tough dungeon if you know to kill the demi-humans one by one or they’ll ambush you. On the plus side, this cave is integral to continuing a certain questline. If you’ve been struggling to find the cave ‘west of the Laskyar Ruins’, then this is it.

Road’s End Catacombs

Another imp-infested dungeon, the gimmick at Road’s End Catacombs is that it has 90% of the game’s hidden walls all in a single location. It’s a pretty short dungeon if you know what you’re doing, but the main rewards are ash summons which could be useful if you’re into that sort of thing.

Academy Crystal Cave

Probably the hardest dungeon in Liurnia, and it requires two Swordstone Keys just to get in the door. Inside you’ll find far too many spell-casting enemies for comfort, so unless you’ve got a fast-paced ranged attack then you’re going to have a bad time. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the boss is resistant to non-striking damage and it’s another double boss. Fun.

Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel

This is the first dungeon you should be heading for in the area. It contains a bell-bearing you can give to the twin-maiden husk which will let you buy Smithing Stones so you can upgrade your weapons more easily. It’s also got a boss who is resistant to everything except strike damage, but at least this one is on its own.

Black Knife Catacombs

Probably one of the more interesting dungeons in Liurnia, Black Knife has two completely separate boss fights, and some pretty decent loot to go along with them both. Not as hard as the Academy Crystal Cave, but the hidden boss fight will test your reflexes to their limit.
