BDI, a furniture designer and manufacturer, unveils Stiletto, a new, versatile leaning shelving system, which debuted at the Spring High Point Market in BDI’s showroom at the IHFC Design Center, #536.
Designed by Matthew Weatherly, Stiletto combines a clean, organic aesthetic with elegant architectural lines that will add dramatic contrast to any wall. The shelves can be configured in many ways, either standalone or grouped as a system, and provide a flexible, unique storage solution within a slim profile.
Stiletto is available as a single or double shelf, and BDI provides optional single and double extension shelves, which allow for unique and endless configurations for any space.
Additional features include:
- Hardwood construction creates a sturdy ladder frame
- Grey-tinted tempered glass shelves secured to the frame, recessing as the slope ascends
- Four leveling points to ensure Stiletto rests securely and evenly against the wall and floor
- Shelf extension kits include one divider upright that inserts between the outer end uprights
“We’re excited to introduce Stiletto as a shelving system that brings a sexy yet architecturally sound solution to any home or office space,” said Weatherly, associate design director at BDI. “With its single and double shelves and add-on extensions, you can create endless configurations for your space while boasting a beautiful design that can anchor the room or pull focus.”
All shelves measure 82.5H x 14.25D in. The 5701 single shelf is 18W in and the 5701A extension shelf is 17W in. The 5702 double shelf is 32W in and the 5702A extension is 31W in.
Stiletto is available in a warm, classic Natural Walnut finish. BDI also offers pre-configured systems that offer range of sizes and options. The system will be available for shipping in Q2 2022.
