That’s right folks, AOC and Porsche have decided to dip their theoretical toes into the gaming monitor marketplace yet again – this time designing a stylish 4K 144Hz gaming monitor that will be known as the PD32M.
The new panel was announced recently by AOC and will be one of the brand’s flagship AGON Pro gaming monitors. It will feature high-end gaming specs that include a 4K UHD screen resolution, speedy 144Hz refresh rate, and a quoted 1ms response time (presumably using the GTG transition).
More exciting, however, is the mini-LED panel that sits at the heart of this monitor. This will allow the monitor to produce a peak luminance of 1,600 nits for excellent HDR performance (with VESA DisplayHDR 1400 expected). Users can also expect a WCG (wide color gamut) from this monitor, with AOC quoting a 97% DCI-P3 gamut, respectively.
At the time of writing this, users do have the option of pre ordering the PD32M over at the AOC website, with prices retailing from $1,799 (£1,750).
Porsche Design and AOC announce another AGON Pro gaming monitor
This isn’t the first time AOC and Porsche have worked together, with their previous collaboration coined the PD27 (a monitor we reviewed last year). Their first crack of gaming monitor glory featured a curved 1440p VA panel with a 240Hz refresh rate and FreeSync Premium Pro support.
The newest addition to the AGON Pro family will be a much more attractive prospect (in both performance and aesthetics), coming equipped with a high-end 4K mini LED panel that features a 1600 nit brightness and VESA DisplayHDR 1400 certification.
The PD32M will feature a new design that rids itself of that curious roll cage-esque stand, replacing it with a more stylish, minimalistic stand. Better yet, the new PD32M seems to feature a removal stand, meaning you’ll be able to VESA mount this monitor if you please – a feature the PD27 didn’t offer.
The rear of the panel seems to be filled with RGB on this occasion, with genuine claims of ambiance when used next to a wall. Of course, we’ll have to wait to review the product to give our full thoughts on aesthetics and build quality.
Inputs will include a number of HDMI 2.1 ports, enabling the PD32M to push the full potential of next-gen PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles. Additional inputs include a DisplayPort, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack, and 4 x USB 3.2

Porsche Design AOC AGON Pro PD32M release date and price
At time of writing this, there is no official release date for the AGON Pro PD32M. However, users can head over to the official AOC product page and pre order the panel now – with expected delivery dates sometime in mid-June.
As far as price is concerned, US listings will start from $1,799 while UK prices will be £1,750. EU pricing looks set to start at €1,999.
While this seems incredibly expensive, it actually isn’t that bad when you consider the price of the similarly performing ASUS PG32UQX – which currently retails in the UK for around £3,299.
