The Season of Alola is now well underway in Pokémon GO, and we’re now on our second of four Special Research stories that will take place between now and June, 2022. So what are the tasks you’ll need to complete and the rewards you will get for completing An Akala Adventure in Pokémon GO?
Akala Island is the second Alolan island that most Pokémon Trainers visit on their journey through the Alola region. As such, it’s the second island we are researching as part of Pokémon GO’s Season of Alola. There will be a total of four Special Research stories, and if you complete all four before June 1st, 2022, you’ll be given a fifth set of research tasks to complete as your Alolan adventure comes to an end. All An Akala Adventure Special Research tasks and rewards
An Akala Adventure tasks – Part 1 of 4
- Catch ten Pokémon – Ten Poké Balls
- Complete three Field Research tasks – Pikachu encounter
- Catch seven different species of Pokémon – Five Pinap Berries
Rewards: Fomantis encounter, 500 XP, 500 Stardust
An Akala Adventure tasks – Part 2 of 4
- Use four Berries to help catch Pokémon – Parasect encounter
- Catch two Water-type Pokémon – Alolamola encounter
- Take three snapshots of Fire-type Pokémon – Alolan Marowak encounter
Rewards: One Charged TM, 500 XP, 500 Stardust
An Akala Adventure tasks – Part 3 of 4
- Power up Pokémon five times – Seven Razz Berries
- Walk two kilometers – Ten Poké Balls
- Take three snapshots of wild Pokémon – Ten Nanab Berries
Rewards: One Premium Battle Pass, 1,000 XP, 1,000 Stardust

- Send five Gifts to friends – Ten Great Balls
- Catch 15 Pokémon – Seven Pinap Berries
- Win a Raid – Alolan Diglett encounter
Rewards: 15 Ultra Balls, 8,000 XP, 3,000 Stardust
