They are designed for medium to large bookshelf speakers, satellite speakers, studio monitors, surround sound speakers, and amplified speakers weighing less than 55 pounds. The sliding clamp mechanism holds the speaker on each side, with additional support coming from the padded bottom for easy installation.

I am very happy with these mounts. I would absolutely buy them again. My front speakers weigh 29 lbs each, and they are not going ANYWHERE! They look fantastic, solid build, the swivel system is easy to position, and the clamps on the side do a great job keeping my speakers in place. The clamps are padded so there is no worry of scratches. I used some 5/16 x 2 inch lag bolts to screw these bad boys into my studs and used the provided anchors where needed to keep them from vibrating. There are only 2 negatives that are not really a big deal. 1) I would not recommend someone only using the provided screws to mount these, it will probably work but would make me uncomfortable. Do yourself a favor and buy 4 of the lag bolts I mentioned earlier and get at least 2 on a stud for each mount. 2) The plastic cover on the back is not exactly heavy duty, just be gentle with it as one of mine cracked while we were installing them. Just be careful with them and DO NOT put the plastic covers on before you screw the base onto the wall. I know it sounds silly but if you put the plastic cover on before you mount the base to the wall the plastic covers will get snagged on a screw on the back.You should really consider these as they were inexpensive, easy to install, look great, and will keep your speakers safe.

Was hoping my Polk speakers would have stayed in place just with the pressure from the side clamps, but they stuck out a bit to far, and wanted to fall off. So I used the holes in the base to add some screws from underneath that kept the speakers in place. The installation looks great.

These were easy to install, good instructions and design. Not too bad solo but it’s nice to have a pal nearby to hold things in place while you mount to the studs or wall. I had a slight issue with the provided bolts/screw but drilling a deeper pilot hole into the wall stud solved that. Overall good for the money.

These held my 11 lb. Speakers with ease and are able to articulate 180 degrees. They clamp to the speaker pretty well, even tho they are a little front heavy and I have them tilted down as far as they go. I didn’t drive any screws into the speakers and I’m not worried about them moving
