good quality that you expect from ge. works fine for what i need. just using it to split my antenna between tv and tablo. works with my 4k equipment.

Works like it should, but it does not look or feel like real gold plating to me. It is gold colored. However, it does work just fine and does not cause signal loss, so it is fine.

I was having some severe pixalization with my cable TV connection. Swapped out the splitter and the cables and problem was resolved. Spectrum kept giving me used cable boxes saying that would fix the problem … and it never did. every time I’d call, they’d put me through the same old paces and would blame the TV which is a high quality unit. Never a problem since I swapped it out.

shipped quickly, fair price. WiFi signal is not applicable to this product.

Easy to install and great signal to both RV televisions. Used to replace the TV switch box in a class A RV.

I was having picture, sound and playback problems. Cable company came out and tested all the wires inside and out and said everything was a strong signal. They gave us new boxes, but our picture quality was not good. Both sound and video would drop out for a second or two at a time a couple times a week. Did my own research and wouldn’t you know it but your splitters can go bad. The cable company spent hours here and never thought to try replacing this $5-8 part.I got this one even though it is rated for satellite with a higher frequency capacity. But in my reading I found some cable companies are using greater than 1,000 megahertz frequencies. This splitter does 2.5 times that rate. What’s the harm in having higher frequency capability?Since the switch to this splitter we haven’t had any of video or sound problems plus the overall picture quality is as good as I’ve ever seen on anyone’s TV.The only issue is the grounding wire assembly and screw is too small for the wire gauge I have. You simply have to wrap the exposed wire around the hole/pin and you’re good. In fact the entire splitter is metal so you can attach a ground wire from any place on it.Great value and definite seat of the pants difference in our cable picture.

Gold is better

This is a good signal splitter. I used it to hook up a dvr I bought

I wanted something that I could expect to last a long time, the old one was corroded being in the crawl space for many years and signal had degraded. This one has worked fine so far, for over a year.
common sense –
I bought two of these, one to use as a combiner and the other as a splitter. With two (same brand) digital TV antennas (with same exact length coaxial cables integrated with each antenna), I connected the two antenna cables to the combiner, used a short length of coaxial cable to then connect to the other as a splitter, and then ran separate cables to two different TVs. Worked fine – the two combined antennas worked better than either one separately. I read conflicting information beforehand that said it couldn’t be done (yes… it can), and another source that said it was beneficial to have the two antennas the same brand, but most importantly, the key to having it work is that the cables from each antenna needed to be the exact same length from each antenna to the splitter. I followed those instructions and had no problem.
