As a self-proclaimed “DIY-er”, I’ve mounted everything from shelves to picture frames on my walls. But when it came to mounting my new soundbar, I was hesitant to take on the challenge. The only issue is that this one is so versatile we had to work with it a bit to determine our best option. Simple and plenty sturdy for the job.

Great product that helped us float our speaker underneath our tv without having to drill into the Board & Batten feature on our wall! None of the screws sent worked so we ended up reusing the screws that came with our television. Everything looks clean and professional.

After researching the various sound bar mounting brackets available, I knew it didn’t matter so much what bracket I selected because I would have to modify the install to make it work with my 32″ TV’s Full-Motion TV Wall Mount bracket (see pic’s). What I liked about this mounting bracket was the 180-degree swivel rotation that was very much needed for my installation to line up with the mounting holes on the sound bar and have it centered with the TV. The mounting bracket bars were too long to install per the instructions (bars in a vertical position) using the TV’s bolt mounting holes. Doing so would have made my sound bar hang lower than I would have wanted it. I could have moved the sound bar up higher on the mounting bar, but I didn’t want the extra mounting bar hanging below the sound bar or I could have just cut the excess bar off, I guess. Instead, I crisscrossed the mounting bars and used two bolt holes from the TV’s full motion wall mount and installed one extra bolt in the middle of the bars crossing each other (see pics). Note: The bars appear (in some pic’s) that they extend about the TV, they Do Not. I also had to cut a notch in one of the bars to get around a nut/bolt that was in the way keeping the bar from lying flat and blocking two plug-in cable locations (see pic w/blue arrow). The sound bar I selected didn’t mention it was designed to be mounted under the TV. The instructions only mention wall mounting. I’m impressed with the build quality of this product.What’s even more impressive is that just about anything you need (read: bolts) to complete mounting the sound bar to the bracket is included.Highly recommended!
