I mounted my Arlo camera and ran this power cable to it. It works perfectly no problems whatsoever.Pay a little more but this is guaranteed to work. I read a lot of people saying don’t fall for the cheaper power cables, they don’t work well.

Like so many others, I wasted money buying an off brand cables and ended up wasting my money. The off brand cable could not keep my Arlo Pro 4 charged and finally just died. Next time, I’ll learn to purchase cables that were designed and engineered for the product. It’s not cheap, but in the end, it’s better than paying twice.

I wanted a floodlight security camera for the dark area at the top of my driveway by the back door of my home. The Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight has been such a great choice! I charged it up out of the box and hung it up on the garage with very little trouble. I also bought the magnetic cable and drilled a small hole in the side of my garage and ran the cable inside to an outlet – I will never have to charge it up or change batteries, which is great for ease of use and peace of mind. You do need a subscription for some of the features, but it’s worth it. You’re huying these cameras for a reason, so don’t be cheap. I am able to define activity zones that exclude the street. I have two on this camera, one that includes the driveway, and one that includes the area around the back door. The light is very, very bright, and the clarity of the night vision is truly excellent. There is a siren I’ve yet to activate, and you can speak to folks through the camera. I did ask the FedEx driver the other day to put the package on the steps instead of on the ground. 🙂 I have set the floodlight to be on long enough for me to get into the house. This is a great piece of equipment and the cost of the subscription is hardly prohibitive. I fully recommend!

This really helped my charging problem with this camera. Because the cable was so long, I was able to run it through the garage door and plug it into a wall charger in my garage.

I was looking for a charging option where I did not have to take the camera apart each time the battery was recharged. I saw a few generic chargers, but I prefer the OEM parts if I can get them. Works great. The cord is long enough to reach both of my charging outlets.

My largest complaint is the price. The arlos should come with these already instead of consumers having to purchase after the fact, and for such a high cost. I purchased one for the Arlo floodlight which is mounted too high to reasonably bring down and charge every time the battery gets low.Although 25 ft sounds like it would be enough, if you are trying to hide the cable by routing along the edges of your trim and siding, you will likely run out of cord quickly. I had to use an extension cord once I ran it into the garage. It could work for some but I didn’t want it cutting straight across my siding.

I had bought an off brand cable, it wouldn’t charge my arlo flood camera. This OEM cable works great! Very long and most importantly keep my floodlight’s battery charged. Highly recommend.
